A lawsuit regarding his sale of $15 million in stock (two weeks prior to news of United Healthcare being investigated was reported) claims that he engaged in insider trading. Of particular note is the rate of claim denials before and during his time as CEO: - In 2019, United Health's post-acute services denial rate was 8.7%. - In 2021, Thompson was named CEO. - By 2022, the post-acute servics denial rate was 22.7%. United was also using an algorithim to deny claims. There was a lawsuit filed last year claiming that 90% of the algorithim's recommendations were reversed on appeal. I have found figures that the 2023 denial rate was 32%. HOWEVER, I can't find any clarification as to whether this is a the total denials or just the post-acute services denials.

Subsonic ammo in a semi automatic handgun without a booster attachment on the suppressor will produce those exact results. The added weight of the suppressor coupled with the lighter powder charge in the round to keep it below 1100 feet per second keeps the barrel from tilting up enough for the next round to chamber.
@StratBurst92Ай бұрын
According to Colion Noir, the pistol jammed after each shot because the silencer used was not equipped with a booster which acts as a counterweight. With a booster in place the firearm would act as normal.

Years ago here in Texas a gentleman flew his personal plane, which was a little plain, but a plain, nevertheless into the IRS building down in Austin. It came to everyone’s knowledge that he did it, because the IRS was taking away his land for their own use or public use or something to that effect And even though he gave his life because nobody would help him or listen to him, the IRS system is still the same. So what I am getting at is if this guy who killed the CEO is doing this to me a the public is at fault because we do not listen. We do not do the proper things to make change, we keep electing our representatives on feeling as opposed to what they stand on their platforms, and it is sad to say that people give their lives for this stuff due through frustration, but we, as a public still keep voting our representatives on our feelings as opposed to their platforms so I’m sad to say this is going to stay a broken healthcare system

Interesting how this story can be viewed from so many angles. Some people view it as "this is what happens when you make guns so easily accesible to everyone " (so the solution is fewer guns) while others view it as "this could possibly have been prevented if the victim had had a gun on him" (so the solution is more guns.) Personally, I believe that where there's a will there's a way and even if there are laws on the books to ban weapons people will figure out a way to make one from scratch if they have to. Anti-gun laws only affect/hurt law abiding people because, by definition, criminals don't care about the law.

Everytime, I complain about obamacare, people tell me that everything is great now.

Because of Obama care /ACA more people had health insurance when companies like United hellcare didn’t want to cover people with preexisting health conditions, but since nothing is better than something trump will take it away and more people will die waiting for his concept of a plan.👍

People are to lazy to research and know the truth. Even said denials would be higher, waits would be longer unless you have the first tier to fall back on. As with all insurance companies people forget who is actually running the show. Wonder if the person had the first tier or the 2nd tier, that would be the question. Also question the markings on the casings, what a way to push people on board for all government control. Obama had a guy on the Obamacare committee that wrote a book about the US and population control. 2009, also UN population had an interesting take on healthcare. Gender and women healthcare education also helps reduce greenhouse gases. What happens to people during a "climate" emergency. All these things intertwine for the 2030 agenda.

The messages were not written on spent shell casings, they were written on live rounds left at the scene. Those were not jams, he was intentionally cycling the live rounds left at the scene in between the fired shots. Also, those messages are possibly staged to leave at the scene to throw investigators off, might be a totally different motive.

Secondary thought: The fact that you're willing to even *TRY* to say that anybody should have any sympathy for Thompson is like claiming that "Hitler wasn't such a bad guy". The idea that you'd try to shame those who won't pretend to care about him any more than he cared about any of the thousands he sentenced to suffering and/or death with the stroke of a pen destroys any credibility you ever had with me.

When you deny health care that people pay their hard earned money for...there is a risk of them loosing thier family members that may have been the ones that were sic. The health care industry is damn lucky this dosent happen more often.

The writing on those rounds are a distraction to throw investigators off the real trail. This guy was hired by someone involved in the finance side of United Healthcare. The shooter was NOT a disgruntled policy holder-this was a hit called out for financial reasons…

I mean... it could be both.

Sadly, the simple fact that successful treatment only postpones another medical issue is ample justification for the insurer to push back against fraudulent care, care that yields a statistically less than optimum outcome, or additional care that increases the outlay but doesn’t generally result in significant improvement. Any way you look at it, the insurance companies exist to make profits for themselves and their shareholders first and providing the best healthcare second.

People don’t like it when others play with their lives especially when they gain crazy money from it. This is the push back from it.
