2:43 is why the Guns have a minimum engagement distance, so you don't get FOD from shit falling off of the target plane.

If I had to guess thats probably a Russian 30 cal. MG, they were famous for having really frikken high Rates of fire. The planes that had that which would be in this game are the I-16 and Yak-1, there are probably others since im not too familiar with Russian Aircraft, but there ya go.

From my understanding, there is no guncam preset, so this is actually the side of the engine view (Alt+F2) and then zoomed in quite a bit so the engine is out of the shot.
