i love the concept of main characters wearing Desert cloaks, From master chief to Frozen teardrop gundams. I can imagine Amuro roaming the place with the rx-78,all beaten,bruised,half missing and supremely outdated when people thought he disappeared yet a mysterious legend to all. or Aerial defecting,landing on earth with a stripped paint,missing arm and a cloak,becoming a mysterious vigilante of legend that roams in space

One thing you can use the first cloak for (or something I want to test) is that you can use it on the Aerial by splitting the Aerial at waist, and use it there as a form of waist coat, as long as you remove the back middle section of the cloak.

Yeah, Quatre's upgrades are minimalist through things. The custom is just adding thrusters that it needed for space and snagged a beam Uzi, he discards the command variant of the ZERO system, and then for EW he repaints and adds a cloak... Trowa's not much better since his is just an add more guns with each upgrade...1 rotary canon, 2 rotary canons, 4 rotary canons...then support unit makes it so it requires tank treads to even move with the additional missile pods...

You should have tried them with HG Barbie or Vidar (if that aint in the dungeon). IBO gundam frames have pretty long shoulder ball joint which may work with the over-the-shoulder cloak. Striped down to its frame, they are also very slim, possibly able to use the full body cloak. Only problem is the backpack connection, which you will need the IBO to universal connection adaptor in smtg like Barbataurus.

These could work quite well on older HGs with the 3mm peg shoulder joints if you omit the shoulder armour. As others have said I do wish we get clear colour versions for this, be cool to replicate the Beam Manteau (mantle?) from G-Reco!

if you take the shoulder armor off you might be able to get the shoulder mounted one on. a little bit of heat gun treatment and this could easily work for alot of gundams

Honestly and I know this goes against the point of the parts set but... There's an honestly cheaper way to this, at least from what I did. Used a piece of paper (it's thinner than office paper and less rugged than oslo. Probably tracing paper, I dunno), crumpled it a bit to give it that ragged look, painted it with black wash (water with some black paint to not give it a total black color is what I call it, dunno what it would be normally called), brush it on the paper and then somewhat sculpted the paper and orienting it to cover the arm properly and smoothly, then ripped the excess and carefully taking off some parts to get it looking tattered and then I made Amazing Exia Repair Cloak that's also moveable. Attachment? The arm connector, removed shoulder pad and it looks smooth rather than seeing the ball socket in the torso (Not offending or being negative, just stating how to hide the separate piece look)
