hornets and wasps typically only use those paper nests for one year, then they hibernate under tree bark till it warms up again and build a new nest. That nest in the bag is empty and potentially quite valuable to people online.

37:31 that rope in the tub is Kernmantle rope for climbing. It's age determines whether it's useable or not. There are 2 general types of this rope, stretchy stuff for rock climbing and non stretchy for caving.

The hornet nest in the bag is a collectors item for a lot of people. Done right, the hornets are gassed and many people will then spray laquer or sealant on the next and use it as a decoration or sell it as a decoration for others. The climbing gear could have been for rock climbing but also looked like the helmet and rope used by the people who do tree removal and climb up then move all around the tree tops and suspend themselves while cutting the tree limbs.

@35:00 of the video. The 3 baseball cards are from Topps. They have the "Tiffany" cut. I think the player in the middle is Bob Gibson HOF'er. The player on the right I think is Juan Maichal and the one on the left I believe is Frank Howard. And I pretty sure they're from 1968. Give or take a year. Hope it helps. Great unit. Great video.💯👍

I used to think the same thing. I just cleared my mom's apartment, we had to put her in a nursing home. Put most everything in a storage unit. Most of which will either go to garage sale or donation. I have to go through everything better I'm sure there is junk, and family photos. But in the moment I just needed to clear the apartment among the mental stress of putting her in a home. Now I understand. We are seeing the aftermath of a story we do not know.

18:25 Vinyl records are one of the items to NEVER EVER store in a storage unit, garage etc. They must be in climate controlled area. Some may not look warped but are still damaged beyond use. Plus the fact they were right by outside wall is even worse. Such bummer, some of those albums were good. Concert T-shirt is cool.
