First off, I'm quite surprise GNR wasn't inducted sooner. Despite all the crap the band has been through, they still made some of the most legendary rock and roll of all time.
As for Axyl being a no-show, I'm fine with that. I'd rather them play with a frontman that doesn't think he's better than everyone else there.
Anyway, enjoy the video. I DO NOT OWN ANYTHING. I post these videos on a "for-the-fan, by-the-fan" basis. It's all for love of the music.

Also Myles is about 42/43 at this performance. Axl has lost the range and tone that made him Axl. He sounds terrible. Twelve years later Myles is still BELTING stuff like this and his own stuff. Watch interviews and he takes care of his ‘instrument’. His body health directly correlates. Axl is that overweight flabby former athlete that is OK but a shadow of his former self. Slash still slays but it not the same

Exactly. Axl had a great voice in his prime but he doesn't sound good now and his attitude was always bad. Myles Kennedy is a stand up guy, fills in at short notice despite having to recreate some of the most iconic songs ever written in front of an audience expecting to see Axl Rose. That's a lot of pressure but he was phenomenal. He pitched it just right too, Myles didn't add too many of his own vocal inflections or highlight the unique timbre of his voice so as to change the spirit of the song or promote himself, he just sang the original really damn well to facilitate the performance for the rest GNR and let them shine. What a class act.

Appetite is to me the only perfect album I have ever heard. Not one song I ever feel like skipping and I still listen to that album almost as much as I did when it came out and I was 10yrs old. Damn I feel old. That’s 34yrs I’ve been listening and loving that album. It’s crazy I can still pull that same feeling I got out of myself the first time ever heard nightrain or rocket queen or think about you (the guitars in that song during the chorus still hit me so hard) or sweet child or paradise or I’ll stop because like I said every song…..
