Fun fact: The whole "Where do we go now?" part of the song is actually because none of the band members had no idea what to do after Slash's solo so Axl just kept singing "where do we go now?" in the booth

The 2016 GNR reunion was the best concert of my life! I raised my kids on GNR, and I was heartbroken when they split up before the kids were old enough for concerts. When they got back together and announced the tour, I spent $1000 on tickets, and probably another $1000 driving across Florida, on hotels, food and gas. And then another couple hundred at the concert for T-shirts and $10 beers. Lol 😂. And it was worth every penny. My kids loved it, and I don’t think we sat down once during the whole night! I have lupus and fibro, and I was hurting so bad afterwards from dancing, that my poor son in law had to carry my busted ass back to our car! (And The Cult opened, which was also amazing!). It’s definitely the most money I’ve ever spent on a concert, but it was a long wait and something we thought would never happen!

GNR has solid composition on so many of the songs on their first album, like this song ... just immaculate. 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥👍

You should check out Phil Collins, I Don’t Care Anymore...think you’ll love it.

A definite 10/10 banger, that one.

This song....is heavy for me. If Phil only knew how this song helped me cope through life with an addicted mother. It helped me release so much resentment and anger , so afterwards I could forgive myself of that negativity...and forgive her and love her anyway....until the next time I needed the song, rinse, repeat.

Does anybody else feel like your just hanging out at a friends house listening to music, having a smoke and just chillin? I do! I put this on the playlist and its like a friend stopped by...keep going because I think there are a ton of people who are totally into you and what your doing.

Ha. My first thought was “Paul Shaffer and the World's Most Dangerous Band”... David Letterman’s show band. Obviously not the same. 🤣🤣🤣 Man, I’m old. 🤣🤣🤣 (and only a wee bit loopy right now.)

Iron Maiden, Queensryche, and Halestorm are all great bands to dive into. Another Meatloaf song, It’s All Coming Back to Me is also a good choice. Xoxo

this song was come together from the band playing around. Slash started playing, the other member joining in. Axl was in the booth, he heard it. as they play, he wrote this song.

I didn't realize how much I liked this song. I sang the whole thing in an Axelesque tone. Huh. I guess since I haven't heard it in a while absence made the heart grow fonder or something. I can't tell what you're doing with that hat though. Is it Rastaman or pastry chef? 👨🏽🍳 Make up your mind. 😄

We should be fair here and see all 5 founding members to be masters of their craft, While most here just write about Slash and Axl, I'd like to take a moment to honor Duff, a fantastic bass player and Steven Adler, a highly skilled but drug-troubled guy magically working the drums. And of course the actual reason why GNR ever came to be: Izzy Stradlin who plays the second guitar and wrote most songs of them together with Axl Rose.

Hey Mr. Video. After GnR, Slash had a project called Slash's Snakepit which was a lot more bluesy and sexy (not the way Axl did sexy...just like music oozing with "come get this"). Ain't Life Grand or Life Sweet Drug are dope songs. My 2 cents. Have a good day. Edit: 69th like on this video. Giggity.

In the 80's, most metal bands started with a hard hit song followed by "the power ballad."

Slash the guitarist was raised by david bowie like his own son. His mom was bowie's wife or girlfriend
@tinachittum35694 жыл бұрын
That's not correct. His mom only dated bowie for a short while , and by slashs own admission, he didn't like him
