Appetite for Destruction took several months to catch fire when it was released in 1987 but catch fire it did and in a huge way, toping the charts well into 1988 and beyond. Hard rock was back baby! As a side note, members of Guns N' Roses appear in the last Dirty Harry movie, 1988's The Dead Pool. In the movie Jim Carrey plays Johnny Squares, a rock star whose overdose serves as the starting point to the murder mystery the movie centers around. "Welcome to the Jungle" features in the movie as the video for it serves as a clue to unraveling the skulduggery. Slash fires a harpoon gun through a window later in the movie.

Appetite is a must for anyone. The song list and the order of how they list out is incredible. Welcome to the Jungle to It's so Easy then Nightrain. Trio was epic then a spine tickling list in the same vain of great songs that took you on a ride of a life time was incredible. The last Great Rock Album of the 80's
