I was very excited to watch this movie since I watch the trailer and when I watched in theaters... I was disappointed. Don't get me wrong, I love the start of the movie, the vibes and aesthetic, and the premise were very intriguing (that one scene from the cabin in the woods is scary and well done). However, as the story went on, I was like... what?? Espeacially the reveal of the dolls, like yeah I love plot twist and hidden details, but the dolls just appear out of nowhere, and it just confused me more. I almost feel asleep in act 3 and Longlegs' monologe was...something. The mother was interesting and i think she had potential, but the execution felt flat. Overall, this movie had a great concept but the middle and the end weren't great for me. Also, amazing work mate

No because if they gave horror movies their flowers at the Oscar’s then LongLegs would have hit a LOT of categories for me 😭😭 it’s easily in my top 10 now. There’s not many other horror or suspense movies that can compare for me

But you can almost guarantee they'll make a joke about it at the Oscar's or reference it in the opening act (like they did with Midsommar lol)💀💀💀💀

@ for sure! Good enough to reference for material but not actually give any awards or nominations

The ending exposition dump and the ending in general ruined the whole experience for me. Letting the audience figure it out would have elevated the experience by a lot. By the middle of the movie, I was like this was one of the best Horror movies I have ever seen and when it ended I was like, "wtf," and not in a good way.

They really should've just removed it entirely 😭😭. Hopefully in the future there'll be a directors cut without the monologue at the end. I really wonder if they added it in last minute cos I think the audience would've been able to piece together the flashback without the narration lol
