Pretty tough crosswind approach !
One of my first flaps 3 landing.
I manged to do a decent 1.12G 240 fpm and 7 feet off centerline touchdown in this weather condition, so i'm happy.
But i landed a bit far from the touchdown zone and did a dangerous 9° bank angle during final.

Once had gusting 40-50 into Gatwick 😅, just reached the max crosswind threshold before landing although it wasn’t pretty

Since SU10 i didn't fly with MSFS, i'm waiting for the v2 of Fenix to see what's going on in MSFS. I'm exclusively flying with P3D and FSLabs A320 family. For the better ! And i didn't keep the screenshot...

I think you are confusing the maximum tailwind for takeoff that is 15kt and the max demonstrated crosswind for takeoff and landing that is 38 knots (gust included and good runway condition). It is often reduced to 35 kt by SOP.

@@kane6194 max demonstrated xwind is 38kts, but this doesnt mean thats the worst you can fly in. eg, cessna a152 max demonstrated xwind is 12kts, but you can fly above that.

For FSR, i have shared my profile into the clouds profile of FSR. So search for JaGna and you will find it. It's only camera mouvement, no SFX. Then for the bouncy landing it's one of the know issue with landings and will be fixed soon with the next patch

This video is very old, more then one years ago... My setup have change, my config have change, the sim have update, Fenix have update, my main sim have change... So hard to tell. But what i can say is hours of config tweaking to find the perfect balance and a lot of hardware and windows optimization.

why you dont use the aleron trim

Cause you are not flying an airbus aircraft with manual trim, the aircraft trim by himself (FBW), except for some failure or if A/THR off

There’s no aileron trim on the Airbus 320 and you’ll only use manual pitch trim if you get a significant failure that drops you into direct law. You’ll still get automatic pitch trim if the A/THR is off. Down to 50 ft at least! 👍

I want a fluid framerate. I did this settings by doing lot of test, i really want to have 0 FPS issue during take off and approach/landing phases. Important note, in DATA settings section i turned off photogrammetry (it's a building settings using graphic resource, plus i don't have a lot of bandwidth) and i use rolling cache (10Go in SSD). I don't care to get very high detail terrain (i want it to by accurate) and very good light and shadow effects. But in an A320 you see the sky almost all time and MSFS cloud looking so cool so it's i want ultra setting cloud and wanted good weather effects. I want very good runway detail and good detail in the cockpit (but without impacting performance) and a very clear image (no bloom, lens flare etc...). Important graphics settings note : with my setup i lose performance if i set texture synthesis lower then ultra (in low i lose a lot of performance at low altitude or at ground). My setup is NVMe SSD (WD black SN770, 5Go/s, 500Go, MSFS is install in SSD), RTX 2070, i7-12700K (12 core, 3.6GHzz, 5.0GHz turbo, 12MB cache).

@@justthrust1457 One other think is how i install my nvidia driver, basically without nvidia experience and "useless" nvidia features If you want to do it i recommended this video that explain how to do it kzbin.info/www/bejne/emiXfGBqd99godk For my part, i'm using nvidia studio driver (because more stability and less update required)

@@respectfullyright Crosswind is still the reason. It's a personal preference. My cam heading is aligner to the aircraft heading and my eyes are looking to the aircraft track. Few reason : - I really don't need to have the camera tilted to the aircraft track to see/feal the aircraft track. - The track may change during the approach (especially when it's gusty crosswind) but the heading is obviously fix. - For me it's easy to feal the track this way but it's harder to keep the aircraft heading in mind with the camera tilted to the track. - It's easier to feal how much you have to do yaw input to decrab correctly. In real life you still have your body to the airacraft heading, but obviously your body are not in the sim. - Probably the best reason, when you decrab you'r camera is going to be tilted offtrack of the runway heading. - And an other very good reason, i wan't to keep an eye to the upper ecam and also see the spoiler deploy in the lower ecam
