Thanks to carnivore my son tapered off antidepressants and he is now tapering off antipsychotics (olanzapine) with success! Lots of animal fat and now also 50.000 IU D3 is really helping him. Vitamin D3 is working together with the B vitamins in the gut. Our son is having autism and in his teenage years he rolled into schitzophrenia. I am so thankful finding carnivore!

Sugar Junkie here. Trying hard but it feels stronger than me. I had some chocolate today and am now at a campsite away from temptation and believe if I can make it two full consecutive days w/o ice cream I’ll be able to break the cycle. I plan to stay here 4 nights and have plenty of meats, eggs, and cheese to stuff myself until satiated everyday. Got an air fryer and it is helping me cook and eat better. Eating carnivore is not the problem, it’s stopping the sugar that’s getting me. I’ll keep trying.

@@tomaskey6844 eating enough fat does help in my experience. Butter, tallow, ghee - a fat source according to your sensitivity - till you can't anymore and then adjust a little to not overeat. You can't really cause you'll feel nausea if you overeat fat. Loose stool will subside. Best of luck from a former boulimic. Healing food addiction is possible.

Interesting that people prefer Judy's content when she is sharing something personal. I actually was drawn to this channel because it was clear of fluff i have to comb through in other channels. I look for useful information and not for personal life of the content creators. In my opinion, Judy's channel is the best source of information there is on the topic of carnivore and health.

I have “Covid gut”. It was a terrifying and horrific experience. But I survived. Mainstream medicine could not help and looks at me like a deer in the headlights when I seek help. Carnivore has been the most helpful with my gut function but I have a long way to go before I will be comfortable with how well my gut is working.

Me too! 3 months after getting original Covid I had weird constipation and then within a few days my colon perforated and I had emergency surgery had sepsis and nearly died. 3 surgeries later I am healing and carnivore has eliminated the need for any laxative help. I’m 74 now and swim laps for 30 min 6 days a week but still have long COVID symptoms of weird fatigue and neuropathy. I can finally stand the smell of garlic. I am finally maintaining a good weight since carnivore.

The more I eat, the worse I feel. I've been pushing through the last several months on carnivore and lost over 50 lbs, but, I ate a carnivore "mayo" someone recommended and now, I'm IN AGONY digestive wise. My gut is severely bloated, it hurts, I feel like I'm full when I'm hardly eating, I don't know what to do!! PLEASE ANY SUGGESTIONS, I'M SUFFERING RIGHT NOW!!

I am really struggling with eating to fill up as a carnivore, I do not like fat I try to use butter to help but still not eating enough. I also tried eating in bits. I feel full and tired of eating meat easily trying to avoid milk so I can heal better from inflammation. I eat beef, Al ruminants, poultry, prawn , eggs and butter . I also started taking Lugol’s iodine (2%) it went well first week but I reacted with spasm and pains afterwards something like detoxing also occurred a lot at the time so I stopped , only re started it again with 1/2 teaspoon of mineral salt. I have been able to heal since starting carnivores 28th Aug 2024 pains and sciatica . Also much better from Hayfever inflammatory allergies. I also feel like am slightly dehydrated, I do drink lots of water with minerals salt. Any ideas to improve filling up will be most helpful.

For someone with dysbiosis and constipation would spore probiotic help? I have slow motility its not a lack of fat or electrolytes. Red meat and fat can actually make it worse bc they are hard to digest for me. Rendered fat on carnivore goes through me but can cause alot of cramping.

I would start with the more popular probiotics, like Culturelle and Florastor. Take them first thing in the morning on an empty stomach. The spore probiotics are stronger and might cause side effects

I was a distance runner competing at the elite level when my thyroid went real bad a year ago. Already taking higher than normal thyroid medication for my weight and it doesn’t seem to change anything; dose is 180 mg of Armour. Anybody with advice?🙏🏼 Started high dose iodine; 50mg daily 3 weeks ago after listening to Dr Brownstein; most doctors both conventional and functional will tell you that is toxic levels. I don’t know what to do or believe, I just know I’ll be dead soon if this continues. 😢 Help anyone 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼

Why you aren't healing: You need whole food carbs like oven potatoes or yams or carrots or fruits. You need to correct negative thoughts and deep old trauma and repressed feelings. You need to check your thyroid help and nutrition and check for heavy metals and parasites.
