This filler was one of my favorites. The story arc was kinda all over the place, but I loved that they changed the animation style. It made everything look so much smoother. This was also the first time we saw a pre-Nine Tails Chakra mode. Naruto unlocked a new form but you might say it was more raw than concentrated Nine Tails Chakra. It looked dope though

He very low diffed Hinata who should be relative to Neji, probably slightly weaker, as it doesn't make narritive sense for the underdog to be weaker than the prodigy, considering that was her whole goal, and Lee, while stronger than Neji, isn't too much stronger and gets beaten really easily by an Allmighty Push. TenTen is kind of irrelevant. Guy is the only one who really matters at this point. Guy would win if he opens up the 8th gate off the bat and blitzes, but otherwise, Pain wins against 7th gate Guy, as he could use his summons to hide the Preta Path and then hit him. Sage Naruto is relative to 7th gate Guy, and he got demolished

I would say it is worth a watch. Placing it on a timeline makes no sense. But it is kind of an alternate take on the war arc where Kabuto is the main bad-guy and teams up with this movie/filler villain called Dysonos and tries to use a clone of Naruto's 9 tails Chakra to release an ancient demon. The whole thing sometimes feels like a movie that was split up into 5 episodes. Also every episode has movie quality animations.
