I quit mcdonalds with a more extreme version of this in highschool. Our ice machine was broken they sent me out mutiple times over a shift to buy ice from a gasstation by the end of a the shift my tank was empty and the manager refused to take me to the gasstation to fill one of those plastic tanks, this resulted in an entire bag of ice being thrown in the fryer and them losing the only employee that willingly worked weekends

Hey man, no need to shame someone for earning a wage. The person who did this is an absolute moron who doesn't even deserve a job, but you shouldn't look down on all fast food workers. Many of them are single parents with multiple jobs, going to school. I've never worked at that kind of job, nor am I a parent, but I do appreciate those trying to make a better future for themselves and their loved ones.
