Doing it in secret isn't the point Moreover when ye fast, be not, as the hypocrites, of a sad countenance: for they disfigure their faces, that they may appear unto men to fast. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward. But thou, when thou fastest, anoint thine head, and wash thy face; That thou appear not unto men to fast, but unto thy Father which is in secret: and thy Father, which seeth in secret, shall reward thee openly. Matthew 6:16‭-‬18 What Jesus is saying is that u shouldn't show off while fasting. The context is people showing off while fasting. There isn't anything wrong with other people knowing that u fast, that is only a problem if u have a pride issue like the Pharisees. All in all this is a pretty good practice to follow regardless.

Matthew 6:18 says we should fast in secret. So that we may be rewarded by God. However, I think it's good to tell your friends and family who aren't so that they don't ask you to go get a steak somewhere.

HA!! I got rid of my Facebook and Twitter accounts awhile ago. God had been putting it on my heart for quite awhile. But I didn't tell anybody. I wish I would have though in some respects. The Twitter policies only permit illustrations of nude children in very specific contexts - here's the exact line I think you're referring to - "Depictions of nude minors in a non-sexualized context or setting may be permitted in a limited number of scenarios (e.g., art works by internationally renowned artists that feature minors, news media reportage, media created and shared for scientific or educational purposes)." - this comes at the end of a lengthy list of ways in which sexualization of children is absolutely not allowed. I'll try to reply to this with the link so you can see the whole thing, but since most YT comments don't allow links, you should look it up if the link doesn't work... In short, yes, they allow it in very specific circumstances, but calling something "art" does not make it allowed as you suggest. Hope that helps clarify this issue?
