I appreciate you letting us behind the curtain of your training. I know a lot of athletes these days show their lives through short form content, but these longer forms show a bit more and give better context. Can't wait to watch the journey

Epic! I loved the footage! It looked so cool! You guys did a video of another road race before. I think they are my favorite! I love the strategies and the narrations before and after reflecting on the race. Awesome!

Pick up a couple of pairs of $2 safety glasses. Old cyclocross trick. In addition, a cycling cap is a tremendous help as the peak can cut the spatter by 50% - even more if you're following a wheel and just tilt your head down a bit.

another trick someone told me was to spray with water bottle :) learning lots!

Lyons was several degrees warmer than the rest of the course. The sunshine at the start was quite deceiving. Great video, thanks so much.

Jens a positive man and a father of a lot of children. He must be married with a fantastic woman. He has allways been a fresh Air In the peloton. Loved the breakaways he did. Nice to see that he is still In great shape. Gwen you are strong, riding In front of the peloton together with the men 👍

What crazy conditions for a race! Question, how do you clean and maintain your bike after a race like this? Is it possible to clean every nook and cranny without taking your bike apart?! 😮
@GwenJorgensen10 ай бұрын
we take wheels off but everything else stays on to clean it

It ain't unknown Gweny, you go into an event with a mindset of: "I'm here to WIN!" you need to BELIEVE in yourself, but again, AGE is truely the determining factor!

It was fun to watch this and hear the stories about decisions being made before, during and after the race. However, the driver of the vehicle thought that he was racing the Tour or something, leave the ego at home and enjoy the race!

How many women were there? 2? A lil Nervous for first event, will that event have any "stiff" competition? Unfortunately age is the factor here with you Gweny, French Kassandra B, Taylor Knibb are 10 years younger, you just can't beat Yuth!!! and in your previous vid, Taylor was schooling you in da pool, with Lil effort. Imagine in Paris, if water quality is swimable, Hope it ain't and then you will have a better chance in a duathalon! But you should crack top 30, if you make Olympic squad? GG! All the best!!!!
@GwenJorgensen10 ай бұрын
how many women at Old man winter? 237 women. 1042 total with men. The average age of Olympic triathlon medalists has historically been "older" with 20% being aged 35 years old. Not saying that will happen in 2024 .
