Gypsy (Musical) - Small World (Lyric Video)

It has been a hot minute since I've recorded a cover of a song from a musical! I had the good fortune of attending the reopening of the Majestic Theater in New York for the very first preview of the musical "Gypsy" starring Audra McDonald.
Among the handful of songs I'd recognized from recordings that had been made by Sammy Davis Jr., Tony Bennett, and Sinatra, there was the song 'Small World'. I'd been introduced to this song through a recording that had been made by Eddie Fisher for his album "Tonight with Eddie Fisher" in 1961.
I had loved this song years ago and wanted to record it but back then there was no backing track, and no technology to isolate backing tracks from recordings yet. But now...we do have it!
Seeing the show reignited my desire to record the song and I am so happy I was finally able to do so. I hope you all like it!
