Well this is a longer video than I thought it was going to be. Have had to break it up best I can. ill do my best to get the rest of it out over the next few days. I have come to realise I am a very busy lady that likes to talk a lot.
hope you enjoy a little insight into my day 😊
Please follow this link to continue watching my session with Finch and also over 40 other training videos. I post weekly showing a full insight into my training methods. I hope you will consider joining my Patreon community.

As a non owner and casual rider who came to all of this late, it fascinating to see all the effort and hard work that goes into training and keeping horses fit and ready for work. Don’t let KZbin grind you down, they don’t seem shy about putting adverts into you content to make a few quid out of your hard work. Keep up the good work it’s an online weekly highlight.

You're an incredibly hard worker, inspiring and I love learning so much about horses that I just never knew about. I especially enjoy how you tune into the horses and let them process their own learning. A wonderful exhibit of kindness and how to be with horses.

Dear Miri, I (like your other followers) absolutely love your vlogs. You are truly inspirational how you love & care for all the horses in your yard. Please keep on keeping on. Obi looks fab - he is so much more aware of his feet & looked to be so much more flexible & seemingly 'lighter-footed' as a consequence, placing his feet more carefully. Just what I observed. Your videos are the highlight of my week & have made my many many months of shielding more bearable. Glad you are looking after yourself. You should be extremely proud of all your achievements - especially during current circumstances.

I stopped watching after an accident in May, I couldn't ride after and any kind of horse content sent my mental health spiralling. But I'm healed and back on board now so I'm binging all the videos I missed! Love your videos, the algorithm can be brutal x

Glad to hear you mentioned at the end of this vidio self care.Being kind to yourself. We all push ,push, push our bodies to the limit. Listen to your body Miri. It will tell you wnen you need to stop and rest. Pleass don't ignore your body whispering to you. Then your body shouts. Then dis - ease occurs. As your body is being pushed too hard by you my darling..... Just get a balance.. a day to rest. Do nothing. Relax mind and body. Get as much halp as you can. And delegate... you can't carry on at this pace forever without it affecting your well being in some way. Us girls put every person,animal, ect before our own health. It comes last on the priority list..!! Without uour health you have nothing!! I learn't that with cfs/ ME. Go to bed early. Plenty of rest. Vit C,zinc, vit D3 ,omega 3 oils to boost yohr immune system. Eat lots of fruit and veggies.drink loads of water...Rest when you ferl exhausted. Dont keep pushing.. i know your your,its hard running your buisness...But priorotise. Your buisness. Your health...love you too much to see you run yourself into the ground darling.😘😘😗❤❤❤

There is an older Equine Chiro (Ed Crowthers) in the US who said he believes that 90% of the horses who act up are in pain, whether from being out of alignment somewhere, their teeth or ulcers. I think he's probably right. Also, I think it's a brilliant idea to check all new horses coming in on pavement 👍

I totally feel you. I’m completely overwhelmed by running a boarding stable with nearly 100 horses, and a massive kids riding program. And on top of that my own training projects and baby horses. I feel like I don’t do anything really well. There are simply not enough hours in a day. Breaks are awesome! I really love that mmare you have in training. She’s super cute. I run into the situation all the time where people think the horses have a behavioral problem and have completely overlooked that the poor horses in pain. Most of my horses are older now and I’m always detecting subtle hints of lameness that take a detective to figure out. Thank goodness for a good vet that does Chiro and acupuncture, not to mention a really good sports equine massage therapist. We expect so much from them, we owe it to them to make sure their bodies feel well. Very nice video. I love to watch your content.

It was not your fault the bloody internet wasen't working!!! You are amazing. The best horsey vids ever. Ignore those negative comments.... we really appreciate your vlogs. Your excellent horsewoman man ship..!! Think your having a not so good stressfull few weeks. But breathe, meditate. Surely people understand your not a robot. Your only human. Also you work with sensative animals...you never stop... so just be kind to yourself...look after yourself...put your physical and mental health first. Before anything else. Especially a few you tube blogs. I can hear your asthma is playing up. As you are getting breathless. Me too. Remember. Your health is priority!! Not you tube...xxxx You need your own time to relax and rest too. Xxx lots of love. Xx

I wonder if a talented farrier could devise a corrective shoeing system that would encourage Moe to place and stand on that hoof in the right way. might be worth putting out some feelers to various vets or the vet hospital. Just a thought.

I really enjoyed learning more about the body work treatment and the exercise plan for Mo! I think so often the quick fix is joint injections, but often that is not the real solution to the problem. My horse recently started receiving treatments from a massage therapist and a chiropractor.
@andystpierre6086
@andystpierre6086 3 жыл бұрын
I had similar « exercices » to do with my mare that you did with Mo. it wasn’t for her stiffle thought, but her back end was pretty weak (she’s a pacer) and I always felt bad not letting her rest as she wanted and always putting her leg back again. She stopped doing it after a while, and she’s been doing really well since so I’m pretty convinced it works. As an ex-athlete with a lot of problem myself, compensation is a huge and very real deal. My spinal cord was literally all turned to one side to compensate (and it took years and years of rehabilitation to have now a straight back!!!)

I think you're a great youtuber, but I don't watch videos that are all about sponsored stuff in the title/thumbnail. I think you're doing great! You've been doing youtube for 2 yrs and have 20.9K subs, I've been doing it for 3 1/2 yrs and I can't get to 300 subs... I don't really compare us because our content is different.... but you're doing so amazing! I loved how you talked about the compensation, I have that with my part loan horse. She loses the 4 beat of the walk down hill... I can't decide that she has to see a chiro or anything, so I do what I can to strengthen her and supple her, and it has got a little bit better.... I love how Mo is kind of walking like a ballerina, with turnout... I loved the bit with Bella as well.
