Do I need the cornstarch if it’s just a thickening agent and no benefit to my hair? Thnkg of using avocado instead to see how it wrks.

You would probably have to add a lot of avocado to make it thick enough. Without cornstarch the mixture will be really thin and it will keep dripping down your face while it sits in your hair which is a bit annoying, I know from experience. But if you don't mind or you can mitigate for that then by all means try it.

Thats right. I think its the weight of the product, plus the fact that moisturizes the hair so well that makes the texture appear looser.

Thanks for this video. I had a TWA my hair has grown now but the ends are not easy to comb. I heard about the baggy method but I haven't tried it yet. What do you suggest me please?

The baggy method moisturises your ends and keeps them soft for longer. You may find it useful because it sounds like your end might be dry. If you have tried deep conditioning and still find your hair difficult to comb the definitely give bagging a try.
