I'd think a wig is more protective than a weave, though both have the possibility of causing thinning edges.

❤❤today is June 6th, 2024. My hair is growing back from having breast cancer twice but it is growing everywhere but in the nape and the back where I lay down at night. I stop wearing sweaters because it was pulling my hair out ❤❤what else can I do ❤❤

LOC works better for my high porosity hair. I use a liquid and a leave in together and then instead of oil I use shea butter and then any leave in cream on top and it works wonders

I use to use a babyliss ceramic flat iron . It got my hair straight but i had to use many passes in order to do it. I just bought my first titanium flat iron and i put the temp on a lower heat and it gets my hair straight in one pass

I enjoyed your video. My texture is mixed, coily, straight, and it's tough to detangler but I've decided to detangle it before washing it from this point on. Thanks for you tips. I'll let you know.

Oyin handmade is more like moisturizer than a detangler in my opinion. They have a detangler called Oh my Glide that I'm considering to give it a try.

I’m a little confused. You started with ceramic as number 1 but said for number 3 you said titanium and said it’s the best type of flat iron to have. I was under the impression that ceramic was the best one since you said it’s the most basic that we’d want our flat iron to be comprised of.

At first I was horrified by the slap. BUT I did my research and I found that Chris Rock, who I used to be a fan of, has a history of denigrating Black women. He is the inventor of the term “creamy crack” after all. I now understand why Chris Rock was slapped I just wish that Will had done it off screen. Chris Rock continues to abuse Black women to make a buck. Sad 😢

Yes people should do what they want, but can I also say that everything isn't for everybody no matter what race or background. I have seen very beautiful braids on some individuals. I have also seen others that looked like a complete disaster. Same for dreads. I don't think its a style that everyone should wear even if everyone CAN wear it. I have to tell myself the same thing. I know when something works for me and when it doesn’t. I think if it works for an individual, then they should do it. If it doesn’t fit then don't force it. And that is just my opinion.

I have zero clue why its glazed over that the Venus statue from 30,000 years ago was found in AUSTRIA... Not Africa. Braids are not owned by one race, just as makeup is not owned by one race or gender. We do not give credit to any of the French men that wore makeup in French court, or the Jewish women that wore it in Egypt during the reign of the Pharaohs... Why then, is everyone so bent out of shape on a hairstyle? Its the silliest thing. As the video states, people may just like the look of braids, emulate the look or want to try something daring for them. Why does everyone care? I honestly think this just feeds into the "snowflake" attitude that has happened with the last 2-3 generations. Its NOT political or cultural at all. Its HAIR... Is it hurting anyone for me, a pale white girl with gray white hair to get box braids? Not in the slightest. In fact, I am spending my hard earned $ to support someone that is great at installing them for me. This will likely be a black woman due to the frequency of her installing them on both black women and men and white women an men... Be great at your craft. I utterly respect ALL people, so please everyone stop trying to find reasons for division. And remember to thank the Jewish women and French men at court, for makeup before you put it on every morning. ;)

Its not an outter condition but INNER and caused by too much Carbs and suger/ high insolin. NO oil lotion or potion will solve it. Especially oils. Will only make it WORSE!! Its a fungus that FEEDS on ALL oils!! Only way to truly cure it is dietary. But topics like Hydrocortisone/anti itch will help ease flare ups. Also witch hazel I'd a good astringent to put on affected areas to help break down the over active cell buildup and control the over active natural oil the fungus feeds on as well.

Since thousands of years (Egypt!) the best oil will be castor oil, this by swallowing regularly 1 tablespoon (15 ml) early in the morning on an empty stomach. In this manner you will not only be able to eliminate all the waste in your intestines, but all the toxins deposed in your body (methylmercury!) via the liver too.
