And so said a wiseman...Amen 🙏🙏.... that's one of the biggest issues in life in general not just in this one context of immigration. People get to an "elite social status" sort of speaking, by going through an engineering school, a prestigious medical school, law school etc etc and they think that makes them smart, well knowledgeable of all things just because they got to that position or status... but how many times we notice a doctor or an engineer etc who is incapable of processing basic common sense things in life, like sharing the road when driving, or knowing how to stand in a line in a market, or how to anticipate steps while walking in an ongoing traffic of pedestrians in a sidewalk....you can be smart at what you do, but still not so smart at everything else ...so the french say "Le diplome ne fait pas l'homme " [ leu deeplom neu fay pa lohm] aka the diploma(sucess) doesn't make a man.

Hello Jim. Do i have to inform USCIS about my marriage,if my asylum case is still not resolved? (I already had an interview with emigration officer one year ago, got married 6 month ago and still waiting the answer. Thank you!) Victor Prado.

Hi Jim, is there any inconvinience for someone with a travel visa to enter the U.S. before completing 6 months outside the U.S. ?

Very disappointed ! Contacted the Law firm for an I-485 AoS case. Just received endless messages, called the several times, no phone call got answered. After I send a text message I received a call from a front desk clerk who was knowing NOTHING about my request. Had to explain everything from the beginning! Even after I explained my case again she was trying to push me into a paid consultation with a lawyer. I was simply asking for the cost.... Good marketing here, but fails finally because they try to appear better than they are.

is not marketing at all, I´m really sorry that you are disappointed! but you can believe me Jim is one very professional, serious, and pro- active Lawyer. he spent a lot of time for consulting and clear for me all the procedure and the recent situation. About the Desk persons, do not expect any infos or consulting because she or he is not a lawyer, and of course if you need any consulting you can believe me to have one appointment with a lawyer generally the price is between 200$ and 250$ (in Switzerland is 380CHf - 385$) im not defending HACKING LAW PRACTISE but I can guarantee you they are very fair and honest to their clients. Jim Goes really with heart and soul into the case and payment for 100$ comparing for he is doing to his client he deserve more than 100 Bucks. Im following his videos and specially hi Body language even on Skype and I measure the his moral efforts so try to talk to him and I´m sure you will figure out that a 25min conversation will help. I wish you a good luck Hakim

In regards to getting US status through marriage, if there's genuine love between a married couple, why should there a lot of questions? If the foreign national is really in love with the US spouse, he/she will not constantly pressure the other for green card and not worry about it. If the US citizen is truly in love with the foreign spouse and feels throughout he/she is loved and cared for, he/she sign green card whatever, so they can stay together. How hard is that? the more you ask, the more suspicious you'll seem to be and your marriage a farce!

Here's the thing. Couple might really be in love. But USCIS has no way to check that, so they look to objective things that they can measure. Paper, paper, paper.

Do you have to show 3 consecutive tax return of at least $20,000 to petition for a parent or just the most recent tax return ? And if you haven’t met those income requirements for 3 years, but you have for about 1 year and counting can you still go through with the petition process ?
