Finger detangling only helps to workout knots before wide-tooth combing so as not to break hair strands…on its own? Issa no dawg!😂🤣

@@SixthDivison do you wash your hair loose or in large twisted sections? Frankly, 4c type hair by default wraps around itself. When we speak of detangling it’s more a case of no large knots and minimising snapping strands. I detangle on damp hair (water-acv mix), section hair and put in loose twists, 1st wash focuses on scalp, 2nd wash is per section including full length of strands. Then condition in sections and rinse. I don’t use products other than my oil blend and seal ends with Shea butter mix. Ultimately, learn what works for your hair and lifestyle and do you!

@@4cliberty936 yh I section my hair when I put conditioner in. (Creme of nature sulphate free) Then undo the sections and wash with shampoo. But Shea butter is a good lotion to use my stylist uses it I just don't have one for myself yet. My hair gets REALLY dry hence the tangling worst during this winter season.

Yes!!! I thought I was the only one with the Cantu leave-in. Never worked for me even though everyone raved about it. That and Shea moisture deep conditioners!

Wow! Guys everything is not for everyone, I have 4c zig zag Happy Nappy Hair, rice water is working great for me... I do understand the importance of finger detangling. It's been helpful for me using less combs and brushes. I do have a few favorite edge control gels that I love! Holy grail. Are you laying your edges down on clean washed hair? ... I have kink a buds If I let it go and do nothing. lol I don't use grease cause it's clogging. I do natural twist and braids, I agree on the tight styles. 4C hair is fine and delicate. xoxo!

J'utilise mes doigts depuis un an pour mon démélage. J'applique mon épaisse quantité de masque, je démêle aux doigts, je laisse poser, je rince. J'applique ma crème, beurre pour mon twist out. Ça sèche je défais les vanilles c'est tout. Pas de noeud ça me va cette technique. La casse est limitée. Je suis passée de cheveux qui ne m'arrivait pas au cou à cheveux aux aisselles en un an. J'avais pourtant jamais eu cette longueur. Ne dites pas c'est impossible cherchez à connaître la vraie méthode de démêlage aux doigts comment elle se fait réellement

Coconut oil made my hair so brittle over time. It worked initially. Went to hair stylist and she stated never to use coconut oil for my hair texture which is fine type

Cantu leave in does absolutely nothing , my diy leave in made by mixibg my conditioner, water and glycerin a spray bottle does a much better job. Finger detangling only works if i had detangled my hair prior very well ans not let it get tangled again, but it's a good start for my detangling Coconut oil just sat on my hair , i started using olive oil and moringa oil and those were game changers !

There are people that only finger detangle without using any tool. I tried it and my hair ended up being more tangled due to the shed hair not coming off. So it didn’t work for me

This is my notification that I must not have 4c hair.....😳😳 What do I have then?!?!? 😫😫 Yall help.....detangling my hair MUST be done in small to medium sections but I can easily style my hair with water and grease and it stays laid and slick back FOR DAYS. Washing must also be done in sections for any hope of the water reaching my scalp. My hair will shrink if I just leave it but it will easily stretch and stay if I want to do like a twist out. It hates all gel (dries it out) but also will have no body with any oil heavier than coconut oil. All other oil causes it to slick. I have tight ringlets and waves in my curl pattern so no loose rings over here. My daughter's hair is firmly 4C but idk what the heck I have.

it's not a scam nothing can grow your hair overnight consistency is the key! rice water is rich in vitamin B and c and has great benefit to hair too but not the way most KZbinrs says overnight 🙄

I too made similar mistake that my hair was just pulling out so bad and I had to stop it, not until I got to know more about it Anyways, glad your hair is doing good now
