I finally got the final lead. I had to bind 'interact with environment' to mouse scroll up and mouse scroll down, and just sat there fondling my mouse wheel while I watched Netflix for hours in order to tag the safebox. Great job ZOS!

This what I did as well. Worked right away and within 30 minutes and picking 3 boxes I got it on the 3rd box. Note: I opened plenty of boxes 2nd hand and no lead. It was only when I picked the lock myself.

@@wqrcrimes I think the drop rates are determined by how many you've recently got. I mostly play NA and get very few, but when I went back to EU after a 6 month break I got about 50 leads in probably 10 hours of play just doing stuff not even farming.

I found every lead and thanks big time for this video ! The last lead, for what it’s worth- I found in dead water village, it was in a Thieve’s trove, in a spiraled tree trunk and on the map above the village icon is where I found it, almost perfectly north from the house icon, outside

I found the lead in the northern area as you mentioned. I'd previously farmed nodes all over the map. The first node (iron ore) that I farmed in the north, north east of Crosswych wayshrine yielded the lead. It may just be my luck but I thought it worth mentioning.

Yesterday I got 4 leads in like 1 hour and 30 minutes. Today I need to buy High Isle to get the last. This will be my first mythic ever, I allways got spooked hearing people farming for hours, I'm glad I finally tried it myself. It also helped that I'm doing this now, nobody was camping safeboxes in Murkmire.

Nice. New player here ill definitely be going to farm for this. Playing on console and the hot swapping to 2nd bar seems so slow and sluggish that it’s not really worth it most of the time. So this looks like it will be an awesome solution thank you.

Thanks for another great video. I got mine yesterday and found the nodes the most annoying. I ended up finding a spot right by three nodes, turned on that spitting black smithing passive, and just camping out with all three in view. I turned on a tv show and just waited. Not sure how long it took, was a few episodes, but still way less stressful than racing people to nodes. Not counting that one, the vents took me the longest. In malibal tor, with so many people farming, finding mobs got challenging. I stuck to rivers since people seem to ignore hoarivars. Safe boxes took very little time. Spam E til your hand hurts. I got it on my third chest. Some people in zone chat were talking about making a keyboard macro for the E, but that would only work on pc of course. Thanks again! I’m using it on my magplar with your one bar build.

Murkmire is an utter nightmare right now. I 've been all over, and even at 5 and 6 am there are still nearly a dozen people surrounding every lockbox. Today the people were even grouping up into parties and spamming invites, saying that if you're in a party, and the party leader picks the lock, everyone gets a chance to get the lead. I've yet to win the 'E' to win bid for a lockbox, so I've been stuck opening an already picked box over thirty times now, and no lead. ZOS also has not confirmed that second hand openers can get a lead, so I'm at this point guessing it's either you either pick the lock yourself, or no lead, and that's just insane to do right now. Half the time you can't even see the box, because people stand on top of you. I've seen people also spamming really bright abilities on repeat to hinder others ability to see the box, and others who stand on the box, and then spawn the biggest most glowing pet they can spawn, and a companion ally, to also help hide the box. The chat in Murkmire is utter toxic filth at the moment, with lots of people cursing at each other (so I turned on profanity filter), and I've seen over a dozen wishing each other would die, all over this poorly executed lead. I've never seen anything make a game so hostile and toxic. ZOS literally brought out the worst in the community with this one.

This is a really good video man, and it helped me a lot to find the parts to get this ring. Just wanted to say that since I live in the UK, playing on the North American servers instead of the European servers really helps in terms of time zones, meaning that I was the only one looting for the petrified oak ring lead in Deep Throat (can’t remember the exact name) village in Murkwater, got it on the first lockbox.

Helped big times! Thank you! I was lucky enough to find it at the 2nd location for a Sarfebox, I was close to. That was Dead Water Village, the 2nd spot you marked on your maps. Tha "major problem" wasn't even competing with other players, it was that I had to break in that house. The House Owner had seen me, so I had to be quick to unlock the Safebox. But I was quick enough, got the lead location, and just had hide somewhere, to sit out the timer for my "bounty".

True Difficulty of Leads: 5. Igneous Inlays - By far the easiest, just follow the train, no real effort and generally takes less than a full rotation until you get the lead 4. Stone Shank Frame (Glenumbra - Blacksmithing nodes) - Also extremely easy but time consuming, took me like 3h until it popped 3. Sacred Resin (Malabal Tor - Any monster) - Easy but extremely time consuming, took me almost 5h to get and is so damn boring... 2. Petrified Oak Loop (Murkmire - Safeboxes in Murkmire) - The second hardest, there are only 13 safe boxes in the whole zone and its constantly overfarmed and too many people loot it fully instead of letting others check, since it can pop from any already unlocked safebox, no matter who unlocked it. It took me 2h every day for 5 days and roughly 40+ locked and 100+ unlocked safeboxes until i got it, i got it from an already unlocked box since people lie about the unlocking being the key to get the lead... 1. Larimar Gems (Stormhaven - Titanclaw boss at Mudcrab Beach) - By far the most difficult since its a single boss, only the 12 players with highest dps get loot and its constantly overfarmed by at least 30+ players at all times... After a week of 2h sitting here every day i still didnt get it. Conclusion: Fuck 1. and 2. both are incredibly cancerous and purposefully pit players against each other, its the same for 3. and 4. but due to a bigger option of nodes and mobs in the respective zones overcrowding is not an issue. 5. is literally the only cooperative lead... To be frank: FUCK YOU ZOS. The implementation of these leads is cancer... after a week and at least 20-30h of farming i got 4/5 leads and i got lucky with 2. and im not sure how long 1. will take due to the idiotic rule that only 12 highest dps in a world boss get loot at all.. like what the fuck is wrong with you?! This is a cooperative game, let healers, tanks and casuals without trial gear get loot from world bosses as well...

I farmed this mthic in like 2 hours. It kinda explains why my life sucks cuz I spend all my luck in ESO... Opened 2 safeboxes in murkmire, first dolmen in high isle, first node in stormhaven, and malabar tor lead took like 3 minutes. But that mudcrab boss, it took just one hour to get that lead and I spent another hour just running around from map to map and to dig the leads.

Idk why i was having the issues i was but my bar swapping would take like 1.5 seconds to actually happen sometimes more. It really killed the game for me as one bar builds just weren't powerful enough at the time.

It was the Blackwood update, ever since that update bar swapping has lag that only goes away if you type /reloadui but even then it only goes away for a minute or 2 then comes back. I’ve sent in so many tickets about it, it’s so fking annoying. But they still haven’t fixed it. Devs r tards

Just farmed all this today. the first waypoint is pretty underpopulated on the oak loop lead now. pretty easy to get all the leads. The one that took me the longest was actually the ores but after about 15 ores I found one. the rest was like 2 tries max.
