Right up their with Roger Waters/Pink Floyd. Both tried to wake up the masses to what is really going on. Most seemed not interested. Why they are in the big ruling class created life and death mess they are today!

When I first heard this song I thought it would easily be a number one hit. It was maddening how little play it got on radio and I could only guess that it had to do with it's length, over 9 minutes long or maybe it had to do with his break from Supertramp. Either way, the cheap bastard that I am, I went and bought the album so I could listen to it over and over again. a few years ago I searched again for a live version but once again there mysteriously wasn't one. In my opinion, this song was vastly underrated.

Eye of the Storm in general is underrated. Although it is a bit too 80s for some people I think. I Had A Dream doesn't have that 80's feel though.

I’m glad someone is still creating and playing this kind of music. It has meaning. It’s not all about the shit modern songs are about. And, here’s the big part, it’s using REAL INSTRUMENTS!! Not just some midi drums or garage band or something like that!

I agree with you,but Bohemian Rhapsody is a long track too and was a huge successful.I think had a dream(sleeping with the enemy) has all ingredients for a great hit but sometimes promoters not work right, anyway the fabulous videoclip also seems missing, and I ´m trying to get with good image since I lost it 35years ago form my vhs record.Where could I get?.Here is not good quality

Saw Roger in Clearwater, Florida. We drove nine hours for the show. He did a quiz of who'd traveled the farthest... of course, there was someone from 'across the pond' who beat us out.... though I'm sure they weren't expressly there to see him, as we were. One of my fondest memories; a great show!

I had the pleasure, no, the honour to see Supertramp live in Sydney Australia during the 'Crisis, What Crisis' tour. I was amazed then at the quality and entertainment value of their live performance. I was also fortunate many years later to see Roger Hodgson live in this band configuration and in a much smaller, more intimate theatre. Each song was introduced by Roger with the background to the story, then they blew us away with an impeccable performance, just like these videos. A very pleasant and lasting memory.

This, is greatness. Roger is a beautiful soul indeed. The dislikes must have come from Rick Davies (before anyone gets upset, Rick's awesome too). I was sixteen and living in South Florida when Roger's 1st solo effort arrived back in '83, later it inspired me to write a rather lengthy letter to him at his studio (I was still learning guitar and piano then). Just a sincere thank you for the album, and his previous works. I received a Christmas card from him that year, and it meant the world to me.

This amazing man has made my smile, his music has had me cry, has filled me with the purest of joy, he’s embarrass the hell out of me at stop lights with me belting out his music while in my car. He just affirms my music choice that I live in a time when our music still lives beyond lifetimes of those that I grew up with. Supertramp was my first ever concert...paid $10 dollars front and center... millennials, please make music that is as fresh, full of love, happiness and something that will spark memories later in life as this music has and still does. One of the most amazing souls on earth. My childhood was much like his in Chicago. On my own at age nine and wrote 200 songs from the pain of it. Only I am not Roger Hodgson. RCA wanted to sign me but I didn`t for the very reason Roger spent time with his family. I seldom saw my father and I didn`t want get caught up in that life style.I want to see him play with the Mormon Tabernacle Choir.

I heard this song one time on the radio in the mid 80's when I was on a road trip with my cousins to the Twin Cities. I didn't know who was singing it or the song title; but I knew I liked it and thought I'd hear it on the radio again; I never did. However for some reason I never forgot about it in all these 36 years I always remembered I once like a song that had the line "sleeping with the enemy" in it. When you tube came along I searched for it but all that came up was the Julia Roberts movie until this last search and behold THIS IS IT!! After 36 years this is that song I never could quite forget.

In my opinion, he is also underrated as a musician/composer, Supertramp was not much taken as a "serious" band. My favourite Roger solo is in Just another nervous wreck (Breakfast in America).
