I'm a salafi, out issue with sufi and other groups is not Aql. Aql is part of Islam. But it has its place. Our issue is people that put aql above naql. Putting your reason above the text, hadith or quran.

The Hadith mentioned from one Hadith scholar is abt the sunnah being abrogated by (a)verses from-the Quran . This makes total sense to the nature of Ali. A man of reason, sunnah and, a voice of the sharpest brains where god intervenes.

You actually just wipe the top when doing wudu. I don't know where wiping the bottom come from too. The Quran says about wiping the feet in wudu, not washing. Quran 5:6 washing is an incorrect translation.

Mufti, can you cover the quranic verse on vudu, when we look at the Arabic, it translates to wash your face and hands up to the elbows and wipe over your head and feet, yet all the four sunni madhabs do gramatical acrobatics to prove that the washing applies to feet when the wiping is mentioned after washing, and should apply to feet as well as the head.
