One of the silliest cast runs ever. | Hades

The reason the cast did so much damage against [REDACTED] at the end is mostly due to the main blizzard shot projectile (the shards ultimately do very little), and the key words in the description that explain the huge damage here are "piercing foes." It's not as noticeable on smaller enemies that get pushed around by the knockback effect, but with bosses, you can see the projectile kinda slowly pierce and phase through enemies. This lets the main projectile hit multiple times, usually about 2-3 times before it exits. Add on mirage shot projectiles, and you're hitting bosses like [REDACTED] or Theseus ~6 times every time you press cast, plus shard damage. It's actually kinda goofy how high the dps gets.

@@alexe5711as someone who still plays hades daily after thousands of hours in it, i doubt it. this game kind of allows for endless creativity and trying different things. and thats even before you factor in he has mods and a knowledge of the mechanics of this game that allows him even more creativity. if he wanted to switch to a different game he would. hades is jsut a highly sustainable game.

@@reemie.s We'll never know because he's not going to openly say it. He's played so much he's probably tried everything already. Imagine playing 5+ hours a day and then editing videos for it. He'll probably be able to switch games if his channel gets bigger but if you look at his other videos the views aren't there.

Love blizzard shot! It's clearly not as strong as top tier casts like slicing shot, crystal beam, or trippy shot, but it's a lot of fun and still shreds with the right setup. My favorite way to run it is basically the build in this video but also with a little Sea Storm thrown in there as well. Each hit of blizzard shot's main projectile still procs the lightning bolt effect, it's a pretty fun combo

I’ve been wondering why you don’t use Poseidon sword for all these cast runs. It’s my go-to aspect for flood shot and slicing shot (don’t remember if that’s what it’s called, i mean the Ares cast.) I’m not criticizing or even suggesting, I’m just asking why.

I would guess it's because Poseidon sword has +50% cast damage, but Achilles spear has +150% which is massive. Poseidon is good to get your cast back faster, but if you have a non-lodging cast (like slicing shot, crystal beam, trippy shot, and blizzard shot apparently), you're better off with Achilles.

None of the hammers will effect the cast, so just pick what you like. Zeus is a decent 4th for sea storm. Athena for her dash is fine
