I'm tall and on the slimmer side, but I workout regularly and eat like a goddess. I've had friends in the past literally shame me for ordering a salad out at dinner, or caring about my health and appearance. There is nothing wrong with wanting to look a certain way and Hailey you look amazing!! I'm so happy for you 🩷

I used to lose weight mostly for how others would perceive me. It was never truly for me. Now I’m focusing on prioritizing sleep, like making my magnesium cocktails, taking my chlorophyll drops, hot girl walks,Pilates etc doing things for me 😊 those who have struggled with weight for the majority of their life understand where Hailey is coming from! It’s our time to truly feel good in ourselves! Life is too short!

I lost 31 pounds in 5 months but it’s easier when you have an appetite suppressant and learning better habits. I prioritize protein intake and avoid unnecessary carbs ❤ congrats girl

@@haileygamba cough* wegovy* cough lol I know it’s not for everyone but it really helped me break the compulsion with food and helped my brain get the signal that I was full. I’ve struggled with emotional and binge eating all my life. And then having kids on top of it really spiked my weight gain. Even though I loved working out I had to fight against my eating habits. Eating less has helped some of my digestive issues as well.

@@jess4849 if I over eat I get nauseous. And bc you’re eating so much protein it will stop you up but you just need good leafy greens or something that helps you go… you won’t need it forever if you change your eating habits for real like Hailey talks about. My diet is lean white protein and veggies. Limit sugar. I only use stevia for my coffee or sugar free… also protein bars and Greek yogurt! 130 grams.. basically avoiding fruit and bread/pasta lol if I do have some I just get full in a few bites

This couldn’t have come at a better time! I am currently sitting here writing in my journal my plans and strategy’s for my goals, one of them being losing 35lbs. Doubts are starting to come to me whether I will be able to stick to it and how I can encourage myself to stay the course. I lost 47 lbs. I gained a lot of weight during the pandemic and have been consistent for over 2.5 years . I wasn’t overweight before the pandemic but never put much thought into working out , watching what I eat . I’m 29 and feel like I’m looking younger each day. My face slimmed down a lot / got more defined even when I was at the same weight years ago . I’m setting a goal for new years for another 10 lbs .

This video is so necessary. Because the truth is gym life is not for everyone and it doesn’t always fit the season you’re in. Also losing weight to be healthy doesn’t have to be difficult. It’s just a game of strategy.

The scale is crazy… I haven’t dropped weight in like 3 months… however all my clothes fit better, some of them barely fit! I own a pair of pants that didn’t even go up my thighs 😩😩 but NOW it goes all the way up and zips up. The results are showing honey 😍 Your videos are so encouraging!! Hailey, I am almost crying with gratitude for you and for this video!! I have been longing to be the skinny-girl me that l am meant to be. I cannot believe the synchronicity of finding you and your videos on this subject. You are a true gift from God! I have already been prepping for this journey this whole year: literally last week I dug out two cocktail gowns that I buried in a box in storage and they are now hanging front and center in my closet. I took the doors off of my closet, my husband installed fancy colored lights, I hung up my collection of bags and shoes, and now it’s like I have a Broadway star dressing room in the small hallway of my apartment! I went to Macy’s recently and already now have my skinny girl perfume (Coco Chanel Mademoiselle) and a classic movie star Chanel red lipstick. I AM READY!! @@tlsmith1111 Intermittent Fasting and a low carb-high protein diet. Eating more protein as we age is important because we lose muscle mass as we get older and it's the key nutrient that supports our metabolism.

The whole time I’m watching your videos I’m just going YES YES YES!!! The body positivity movement really is not it! There’s nothing better than looking in the mirror and ACTUALLY loving what you see none of this fake body positivity stuff. There is absolutely nothing wrong with me wanting to lose weight. If I tell my friend I need to go the gym, I need to lose weight, I don’t really wanna hear “oh girl you’re beautiful the way you are” neither do I want to continue tell people that. I want to hear “I think you look beautiful, but I support you and your fitness/lifestyle goals.” The season change has really got me down in the dumps but I’ve been telling myself I need to go to the gym for like a year. I’ve been paying for my PF membership all year and only used it like three times… MONEY DOWN THE DRAIN. I really love your approach no sugarcoating shit and ur being REAL. I love and really appreciate it. You’re inspiring me girl first stop is healing my gut and introducing healthier things and MORE PROTEIN into my diet. Yes, queen love to see it. And anyone just starting on this journey I promise you it gets easier. Like literally when I first started with intermittent fasting I felt hungry sometimes. But once you get into it, your stomach shrinks, and you literally don’t crave as much food and like you mentioned the food you do crave tend to be healthier.

I’ve recently started back intermittent fasting doing the 18 and six method which has proven to be really good for me in the past. It has been a week, and I already feel amazing. What I took from this video was the mock tails and the raw veggies which I have been incorporating. Fasting isn’t new too me!! But you just made it a lot more interesting!! Thank you Hailey

I’m a nutritional therapist and I co-sign a lot of what you’re saying. I actually got into nutrition because I wanted to manage my weight but didn’t like working out. Eating healthy is easier for me than going to the gym. Like you, I work from home and am sedentary so getting there is the challenge. I romanised exercise by getting an exercise bike and I jump on that while watching motivational videos like yours and listening to podcasts. I’m also adhd so I understand now that I need to add small dopamine hits (elements of pleasure and reward) to motivate me to do things that I don’t like. Fasting also has so many health benefits including for balancing hormones and managing blood sugar which will help with energy and weight management. The only thing I’d add is for my ladies in their 40s (like myself 🙌🏾) adding in weight training will be key for preventing brittle bones and osteoporosis in later life. You can do that through low impact body weight exercises as well as Pilates and strengthening yoga. Loving the videos and your transparency, keep up the excellent work! ❤

IM OBSESSED!!!!!! I needed this so damn much. I have been on a mental battle with myself and my weight and for some reason your first health video showed up and I was hooked. I love the realness of these videos and I’m going to definitely try it out. I told myself that these 40 days of Lent I will make a health change. I’ve struggled on being on the heavier side in my recent 20s and with being Italian & African it’s been so hard but I’m ready to embark this journey. I love this. Im now a mom of 2 1-3 and i have lost myself completely i dont do anything 🙃 i use to lift weights meal prep and just self care but now i dont do anything for myself i barely have energy for my kids. I hate pictures and its hard to not have any with my babies either. Hearing you be so motivated always gives me a boost of energy to try to aim for a better me

I have been eating more veggies lately! I am actually going to make a grocery order for mostly fruits and veggies tomorrow. I have been craving the cucumbers and peppers plate since seeing it! Let me tell you, I grew up on soggy canned veggies for YEARS. I refused to touch a vegetable for a long time because of that, unless it was sweet corn on the cob or mashed potatoes of course. I would occasionally buy carrots or celery, beans and bagged salad mixes. Recently, I have ventured into powdered supergreens, butter lettuce, cabbage, bok choy, sweet potatoes, asparagus, cucumbers. My digestion has never felt better after incorporating more veggies amongst other dietary changes!

The fact that I could never watched a complete whole video of someone talking about something but I like listening to you talk about your journery!! I have been trying to lose weight since the starting of my teenage years and now iam 27 years old. I am trying to be the better version of myself! I wanna be skinny and be healthy at the same time and don’t feel any social anxiety while attending any functions or program or simply going out because of my weight. As my height is only 4.11 and weight around 60 kg, I just want to achieve my weight loss goals asap

Low impact is the way to go! I lost most my weight by changing my diet and riding my bike every morning! I just started a Pilates membership and omg the results are amazing!

I've recently started intermittent fasting and it's no longer about the weight loss for me and looking better, my head feels genuinely clearer when I fast until around after lunch. it actively improves my quality of life.

I lost 25 lbs over the last few months (180lbs to 155lbs) after reaching my heaviest weight & I’ve never felt better! And yessss - you gotta do it for you and for more than just the aesthetic of it!

I'm glad you acknowledged everyone's body is different. Even with fasting, i had to recognize 18-20 hour fast weren't working for me(probably because I've always fasted because I'm busy). I have PCOS and insulin resistance and found that 36 hour fast 2 or 3 times a week work better for me and I'm finally dropping the weight. 80% of the battle is learning your body.

Girl you got me going and made me hit the road with my journey when I watched your video about how you talked to your mom about what she does and how being hungry won’t kill you lol. I am so thankful for you and that video and feel you probably should have named the video “Raw Details for Weight loss”! But yes I am in motion right now as we speak and I’m having colorful bell peppers and cucumbers. Still working on my salad dressing choices, but for now I have a organic Chipotle Ranch from Aldi! Thank you so much for this video. I got on depo (three shots in) and realized I was gaining weight drastically. I went from 148 to 198 in about 9 months. (heaviest I’ve been) I worked out hard and a lot in the past. I checked the scale a lot. I have overweight family with health issues and I never wanted that for me. Finding you on KZbin literally a week ago has been a God Send. I’m on day three of intermittent fasting! Please continue to update us. I needed this video!

@@asantenigeria7916 I was on from aug 19’ to March 20’ and literally still don’t feel the same . Like body is completely off . It’s my biggest regret . Your period may come back in by summer it too me maybe a year a so it is irregular now tho . And tmi just prepare for a huge blood clot then it will be back completely. It was kind of like a blood purge so don’t freak out .

Hailey I cannot even begin to express what this video did for me. Every single point you made I related too so much I could’ve cried 😭 I don’t want to go as hard and I realized I actually would choose to change my eating and eat less than workout like a D1 athlete. Or even wearing close that don’t fit me and making myself the moodboard at my current weight!!!! Just genius. Hailey you look so good! I can see a big difference in your face. I noticed it a few vids ago but its even more prominent now. I lost 45lbs and have 15 more to go. Ive never ever felt better and I did it the sustainable and healthy way (alkaline vegan) its been 1 year and 4 months and I haven't gained/fluctuated more than 5lbs this entire time period. Hope this also inspires someone to keep going!
