I have been battling hyperpigmentation for years. Acid peels. Exfoliating creams. Washes etc. Started using fragrance free and your recommended products for rosacea. Replaced everything. Shampoo. Lotions. Cleansers. Etc. And doing gentle oil cleaning followed by the Neutrogena creamy wash. The spots are fading and my skin everywhere has been transformed. Thank you so much for your advice. Life changing. 10 years younger.

@@ishams777 hi! I didnt know that I was causing irritation that could be causing the dark spots on my body so I decided to give her advice a try and followed it to the letter. I stopped scrubbing the crap outof my body because of the kp and only used a cleanser in obvious areas. Right away after shower while still wet use Eucerine complete repair %10 urea unscented on body (glaxal base on knees and elbows few times a week). I then oil cleanse face very gently with unscented mineral oil then apply Neutrogena creamy cleanser. Then apply the ordinary HA moisturizer (usually twice). I apply a second layer of 50+ kids Ombrelle later before going out. And the Neutrogena clear face sunscreen. Its been crazy how my skin is completely different. Kp is just about gone. My skin doesnt itch anymore. My face isnt flaky. Its so soft and healthy. About half of the brown spots on my face are gone too. People notice it. Before I used alpha arbutin glycolic acid scented products etc. I didnt know that I was sensitive to it and it caused those spots and dryness. She also has a list of chemicals to avoid and I use that list now. Also use only fragrance free shampoo and conditioner. Amazon has a really good one from their 360 brand. Good luck!

Today i went to the drugstore to browse skincare products for fun. A sales lady came up to me to introduce some products and said that i actually have really good skin, and wanted to know what cleanser i use lol. This comment alone made my day, i can’t stop thinking about it!! I used to always get criticized by saleswomen at drugstores, they would comment on my acne and try to sell me products by lowering my self-esteem. My skin has transformed ever since i started following Dr Dray’s recommendations and i am so so sooo grateful. I can never say thank you enough!

ME as well. When I moved from CA to NC near-ish Wilmington, my natural curly, thick, undamaged hair turned UGLY with frizzies galore. Nothing I tried in products improved my hair. My once lovely, admired hair was finis. It's been a battle for 15 years to date. Have been using recently deep conditioning, and putting jojoba oil in hair daily, and of course a good heat protectant when only occasionally I use a flat iron to have a smoother, straighter look. Am now looking into best for me leave-in conditioners for have learned leave-ins are very helpful. more than conditioner you put in after shampoo than wash out. DUH. how could I not figure that out. My hair is looking more shiny lately.

For years red pen ink was for "night shift" when we used to chart by pen in a patient's paper medical record. Black or Blue was day shift, green was afternoons (back when it was 3 - 8 hour shifts rather than the 2 -12 hours shifts that we now see more). That way in the paper chart it was easy to tell when it was documented. Take it from a nurse practitioner that was a nurse for years and a nurse's aid for years before that!

It's amazing the shifts have lengthened -- that just seems a safety hazard and it's a stressful job as it is.
@l98784 жыл бұрын
@@sagapoetic8990 Actually I loved working 12 hour shifts as an ER nurse, L&D nurse and psych nurse. When you do 12 hours it is usually 3 days in a row and then you have 4 days off which really helps you to rest and be ready for the next week. For the patients it is good too because there is more continuity of care. Some people don't like it but most do. And people are actually working 36 hours per week and not 40.
@mignonalverson6554 жыл бұрын
I would die working 12 hour shifts 3 days in a row. My body isn't built that way. GOD bless nurses!!!
@lorainemcgillivray774 жыл бұрын
I was a nurse for over 20 years and I too preferred the 12 hour shifts. It was far better than being on eight hour shifts up to ten days in a row and a mixture of day shifts/back shifts (UK). At least the 12 hour shifts were a max of 4 in a row. Here the reasoning was different for the ink colours - years ago copiers couldn't photocopy anything other than black/blue ink. As medical/nursing notes are classified as legal documents in the UK, they had to be in dark ink.

You asked about the eye make up remover pads -- I have used them but put them in my travel bag -- not to use everyday. IMO they seem to tug and pull the eye area more. With something like Neutrogena liquid you can really saturate a cotton pad and just hold it on the eye for a bit and there is no tugging.

That's not true about hair color. Any actual 'Dye' or Stain that is applied to hair without requiring chemical activation will just stain the cuticle of the hair. OR Henna will also just coat the cuticle of the hairshaft. Only chemical based hair colors that are activated by Hydrogen Peroxide will have any effect on the actual integrity of the molecular structure of the hair. There are PLENTY of Vegan options and stains for the hair that do not require chemical activation.
@JordanJSparks4 жыл бұрын
poetic vajenna you’re right those options aren’t normally available at the salon except for funky colours like pink and purple etc

If it’s not a clicky pen it’s not an option for a work pen and it stays home 😂 as far as the red ink it might be because in paper charting on a paper MAR red ink meant the order was “taken off”? I’ve had a stye on my eye before and it was very painful. I started to get them frequently out of nowhere and realized that when I stopped using the Maybelline Total Temptation mascara they went away. I’m not sure if that was actually the culprit but that mascara does have some oils in it that may have contributed to it. It wasn’t old, I had just bought it. I’ve since then largely stopped wearing eye makeup. I wear the Maybelline Colossal mascara now and like it. Having an infection or something go wrong with the eyes really cures you of caring about eye makeup. It’s kind of similar to my scalp psoriasis in the sense that battling a scalp condition really cures you of the desire to go for form over function when it comes to hair.

I'm loving your music selections for your videos... the one at the beginning of this one reminds me of Brazilian Bossa Nova and hip hop lol. Love it!!

Can you comment on the videos with experiments demonstrating that heat protectants don’t work and sometimes accelerate hair breakage?

I have been told we can't use red pens in charts because some copiers or scanners can't pick up the red. We can't use colors other than black or blue because it's "unprofessional.". I don't know who decided blue was professional but purple or green weren't.

They say the lighter coloured pens don't photocopy as well so that's why we're not allowed to use them at my hosp. Could you do a video recommending shampoo and conditioners you like? Thanks!

Have you tried Babo Botanicals Baby Skin Mineral sunscreen lotion? It’s amazing!! I love love it. It’s SPF 50, mineral sunscreen, non greasy and very minimal white cast. Also, only $13.59 for 3oz at Target. Has 5 stars and 51 reviews on Target. Oh, and cruelty free.

Hello Dr Dray can I please ask is the ‘ Wet Brush’ ok for using on wet hair? I was wondering if it was a marketing gimmick. It says that it’s specifically designed for on wet hair . Hope you can help , many thanks

ooooh LOVE doggie!!!! Have to confess I've been using makeup remover wipes from Big Lots (green tea and like ones) Just got the proper face cleanser you recommended., tho the wipes I have been using don't effect my eczema prone skin all these years whenever I would occasionally use makeup.
