I understand, when people screwed up bleaching their hair at home that bad 10 - 15 + years ago, but nowadays? KZbin is full of bleach fails and there are also people, like Hair Buddha, who explain, how to do it the right way or at least don't make the same mistakes over and over again. I don't understand why so many people mess up, although all the information is available. Btw, excellent video as usual Sir!

I just did my own hair. From a level six to a level 10 pink/peach. I used everything I have learnt from you and Brad Mondo First round of bleach took it to a level eight (very orange yellow) Waited two days for my scalp to recover. Second round took it to level ten. Another couple of days later (yesterday) I finally got to apply the COLOUR! Magenta roots, and peach ends (I have very short hair, which helped) And I am obsessed with it! So very happy. It was a lot of work, but so worth it. Is it perfect? No. Does it look amazing? Hell yes!

Yeah, before the very end, the color suited her skin very well. It wasn’t even of course but the color was nice. The end color not so much though it did hide the imperfections better overall. What’s funny is I use quick blue and volume 40 for my hair. Naturally black and it bleaches quite well after leaving in for an hour.

During the quarantine, I bought a toning diy box and when I got home, I tried to find out the volume of the ox (my hair was like ton 9-10, just a little yellow, but I like it white/light grey and wasn't gonna put bleach again), it was 40vol. 40 VOLUME. So I went back to the drugstore and bought a 10vol. I'm glad I actually read the volume of the ox. Otherwise, I would be bald right now. 😂

Wow, the facetune, that just makes me feel sad for her, like her self-esteem is so low she can't show her real face. Sadly a lot of women and girls are feeling that way these days, it's a severe psychological problem if you can't stand the sight of your own face and don't want others to see it, either. I hope she gets over as she ages, most women do, but it's sad that the freedom of youth is robbed from most women because so much of it is open wallowing in self-disgust and self-hatred, instead of just being yourself and not caring what others think. Unfortunately females are groomed from birth to prioritize others, including others' opinions of themselves, before their own selves. Sad, I hope all of that will be dismantled one day.

Might I suggest to anyone who wants to bleach their hair at home, DO A TEST STRAND!!!! Especially if you have previously colored your hair before. Just take a very small amount of hair, about the side of the end of a rattail comb, and apply the bleach. Not only will you see exactly which parts of your hair are NOT going to lift easily, but you'll get a grand idea of the damage you'll be facing, and it could help prevent you from melting your hair off!
