I've had so many bad coloring experiences that i started doing my own hair 30 years ago and I never went back for another color. I do get my hair cut professionally and the stylists always wow over my hair color. So I know I'm on the right track..

Thank you for this awesome video!. I have to say that the only time my hair has turned brassy is when the stylist use demi color. I never had an issue with permanent color turning brassy. Maybe it's because it was darker like level four five six.

I'm considering being a professional and just starting but what you just said about where you wanted your coloring to start in the back and then the sides and then last the Mohawk makes total sense to me. I can't believe that it didn't make sense to the professional colorist you want to see. That's kind of sad. Not everybody is suited to do color, guess.

I just have no luck covering 100 white course hair with demi. I’m finding the 10 minute craze isn’t holding well either. I’ve tried several options. Maybe you can do a podcast on these popular 10 / 15 minute brands? Appreciate your knowledge.

Amy yes demi is not meant to cover grey when it is 100% so I am not surprised you will need permanent color to tackle that amount of grey. I have had great results lately with the Redken 10 minute gels and it lasts give it a try be mindful to go up one level it can appear a bit deeper since it covers so fast

I've found the 10-15 min colors to be a bit different than the 30-45 minutes.. in the end they seem to be kind of matte. They probably contain more green to cover faster. I went back to the regular full time colors, like skp Igora or Rusk Deepshine etc

Ps. You can fix menopause with a low dose birth control pill, talk to your doctor, Just get some blood work to make sure you're good to go
