Thank you so much!! For those saying doing this destroyed their brush, I just did this, and it worked. When you put the strips back in, line them up by height or count the points if necessary. Use the "process of elimination" to see which one belongs in which row. There is no reason to throw the brush away. It needs to be washed. Mine was gross.

The Denman is better as a styling brush for highly textured hair. The Tangle Teaser is a much better option and more gentle.

OK so how do yall use this brush this was the worst brush ever. I can't brush hair if the dam thing keeps coming out. Is there a specific brand I should use. My flecia Leatherwood brush is my #1

I recommend taking the bristles and rubber part out and washing all the product buildup and anything that might make it slippery off with soap then letting it completely air dry before putting it back together and back into the handle. When you put it back in dry it stays put a lot better.
