This is the best video Emma has ever posted. Essentially a 15 minute short film that blended visual sorry telling, Arthouse~esque- editing, video essay/vlog seamlessly. I can’t quite get over how well edited this is. Blending all of these different mediums together so well is incredible. The way it blended from paintings to people, to images, to novels and then back to paintings felt like this is it’s own narrative within the KZbin video. And then the rest of the video is just a well filmed, scripted, honest vlog. I cannot wait to see Emma potentially creat more content/media like this. But if not this was so pleasurable to watch. This video turned out super cool. And strangely actually equally exciting and calming. At least that's how it feels to me. About the hair: bleached hair requires a specific treatment and that's very individual to your hair and the way it reacts to any type of stress now (being blown in the wind, being wet, being washed, hitting your skin/clothes/other surfaces, rubbing against anything, being brushed, treated with heat and styling products etc.). Bleached hair is more fragile and prone to breakage. Even if it feels amazing now, and you never bleach it again, but allow it to grow, you will feel how it's getting more and more brittle and dry. That's normal. And of course if it's being bleached over again, it will quicken that process. But if you do get regular trims and only get your roots bleached and try toning with semi-permanent stuff (whether it's a mask, a shampoo or a conditioner, a glossing maybe, there are plenty of products that serve exactly that purpose) plus take extra good care of your hair, it will stay intact. Which products will work for you, is really up to your specific hair and has less to do with the price of the products. Natural hair care, however, often times doesn't suffice. It CAN work, but could as well not. Been there, tried that, made my hair break off eventually. Sometimes a cheap drugstore shampoo and conditioner will keep bleached hair intact for way longer than expensive natural hair care ever could. I don't know about your POV about anything since I haven't seen any video of yours for years tbh. But wanted to leave this here in case you don't know and maybe it helps? Because I myself do enjoy blonde hair and even though in the German salon systems I am still a natural blonde, in other standards I would be considered a natural brunette and it can be fairly tough to get my hair light without damage. I did manage to grow my bleached hair longer several times though - but have decided that short hair is more up my alley. And all the times I did grow it, I used mainly cheap, conventional hair care products and styling products and it worked just fine for me. Enjoy your new hair, have fun with it :D
