So for parts of this video, you might be able to tell that I was talking and looking off to the side a bunch. That’s because I live streamed half of this transformation! I bleached, cut, and colored my hair live on younow (comment “live crew” if you saw part of it!). I’m hoping to make it a regular thing, so make sure you fan my younow channel or follow me on twitter so you get notified when it’s happening.
Times:
Dedread: ~45 min
Bleach prep: ~40 min
Bleach: 2 hours
Cut hair: 22 min
Dye: ~2.5 hours
Dye processing: 7 hours, overnight
Shave: 1.5??
TOTAL: about 8 hours (not including the dye processing)

Secondly, about 8 hours. What products did you use? This info is also in the video and description. Why did you use 40vol developer on your roots and scalp??!?!? Two reasons: I’ve found that’s what works best on my hair and the olaplaex dupe I use calls for increasing the volume of developer by 10 vol anyway. Why did you bleach the part you shaved? I didn’t (mostly). I was bleaching the edge, but some spilled over. Why was your face all shiny when you dyed your hair? Vaseline. It keeps dye from staining skin. I hope you enjoyed this one! So this is what will happen if I do the shown procedure in the video on my hair. I walk in the room with blue hair, my mom nearly has a heart attack because of the drastic hair color change from black to blue. After an hour or two of argument, my mom makes peace with my hair color. Then i flip my hair and my mom seems my shaved head. My mom picks up a razor and shaves off my whole head and then I die of a heart attack.

Just make sure to let your hair rest a while before you torture it again. I used to do that when I was your age. I melted my hair off a couple if times on accident. I had to shave it off once it got so bad. Good thing I went punk in the 80s.

I'm not into this style at all. I'm not really into any style she wears at all actually. Though I do think her dreads are pretty cool. But I like how she gives zero fucks about anyone (me included) liking it or not. For her it's just hair that grows back. For me, my hair is about 70% of my soul. i adore this. I dyed my hair a bright slime green and purple a few months ago and I want to retouch my slime green and add some blue instead.
