==================================
Welcome to my KZbin channel Hairliciously. In this channel, I will be taking you on a journey of my FUE hair transplant progress. Towards the end of November 2016, I had a 1700 FUE hair transplant done in South Korea at Motion Clinic (en.motionclinic.kr) to lower my hairline and to fill in my receding temples. The FUE hair transplant procedure took me about 7-8 hours to complete and cost me approximately $5000 USD.
I will be doing daily updates on my hair transplant progress, so feel free to subscribe and ask any questions you have. Thanks for visiting!
Please like, comment and subscribe! :)
======================================
Products I am using to supplement my FUE hair transplant:
1. HAIRLICIOUSLY Dr Pen 1.5mm 1-2x a week. (temples and hairline)
2. HAIRLICIOUSLY Hair Growth Supplement 2x a day
3. Minoxidil (Rogaine) - Minoxidil slows hair loss progression and promotes hair regrowth. I've noticed that using Minoxidil helped me grow my transplanted hairs a lot more quicker.
4. Pumpkin Seed Oil 1000 mg + HAIRLICIOUSLY Vitamins
5. HAIRLICIOUSLY Low Level Laser Therapy (LLLT)SHAVED MY HEAD: • I SHAVED MY HEAD AGAIN...

oh yeah! Rogaine/ minox did wonders for me back when I was 26. The first year was crazy. After 4 years, I stopped for 6 months. During that 6 months off, I lost SOOO much hair, worse than when I started. If you start it, you can never stop. Between 25-30, all I took was rogaine. After 30, I took rogaine and propecia .5mg/day. At 35 I got my first FUE and started minox/ fin topical AM and rogaine PM and micro needling 2x week. Currently Im doing the same from what I started at 35. But yeah, rogain/minox can be so so good but its forever, sadly.

@@exactly1176 That’s exactly how I think of it. I’m in my early 30s and just started showing the earliest signs of hair loss, so technically I could wait a little before jumping on treatment. Happy to do it for as long as I care about looking good.

I'd say it really depends on the treatment, and the person. If you have a bad reaction to a treatment, you're kind of forced to stop and look for alternatives. My experience: Monoxidil for about 3 days, caused crazy scalp inflammation so that was an insta-fail. Finasteride with great results (for hair) but impotence and terrifying brain fog after about 3 years. That was 2018. Having to make the hard choice of eliminating it entirely pushed me toward more "natural" (and incidentally, less risky) solutions. Pretty soon that taught me you can get great results just from regular scalp massages and basic moisturising oils. No need to take the nuclear option right away.

I would agree with what you have said throughout the video BUT BUT we can't apply all of the said for everyone. I personally know 2 guys, one is 39, another one is 37, who did HT about 6 months ago. One did it in Bosnia and Herzegovina "Vatanmed Clinic" and another one did it to a doctor in Budva, Montenegro. Both did about 6000 grafts, and they're not on medication at all, but what I found in common for both of them was that 1) They do PRP every 2nd month, 2) Both are B negative blood type. They went from Norwood 6 to No Norwood. And I spoke with them about using of Minoxidil but they told me that their doctors did not allow it. The point is that some people are much better respondents to HT, but also it has to do with their genetics. That being said, both did DHI technique and both look at least 10 years younger. Also, it is interesting that to some people this Androgenetic Alopecia for some reason slows 99.99%. Some people just seem to be incredibly good respondents. Is it because of their blood type which is very rare? Could be. We need proper research on this. Yes and one other thing: Both of them had incredibly dense donor area. Like really amazing...

On both the Minoxidil and the Pill (1mg Finasterade and Have already had massive shedding starting just 5 days into treatment, then had a bunch more shedding @ day seven. Not much shedding between showers but on shower days I get enough shedding for a small lock of hair's worth. 100-200 hairs. It was about half of that or a little less before treatments started. I also use ketoconazole shampoo 2% 3-4 times weekly, vitamin D3 (2 gummies 1x a day, I'm actually slightly deficient on Vitamin D per blood tests), and a multi-vitamin. Between that and combing/brushing several times a day (I have 8-9" long hair, or 18 months of length) I think I might have a shot of being a 'hyper responder' Already been seeing new hairs growing, but this is likely from the shampoo as it's too soon at only a week in to see growth from the meds, but next month or 2 will be telling.

My Hair Loss was Norwood 6 prior to any treatments. I'd say it's borderline 5/6 heading into 5 now just since the start of the year. Crown and top still very bald with only a few hairs here and there, but lots of fine light hairs meaning the follicles aren't dead and possibly to likely redeemable with treatment. As for stopping treatment once desired results are reached, possible reducing frequency to once every other day or every 2 days for the finasterade, and 1 time every other day for minoxidil should do the trick I would imagine, one time daily to be safe. But yes, stopping completely would be bad!

I'm 43 and for a number of years I had thinning hair on the top of my head, sometimes more pronounced sometimes less. Literally in the last month I shed profusely and the hair loss became aesthetically really visible. I was doing microneedling with 1mm dermaroller for the previous two months, but in this last month what changed was that I started to have on the job theoretical training on top of work itself and had a very aggressive Helicobacter pylori eradication antibiotic protocol with 3 antibiotics (metronidazol, claritromicine and amoxicillin) 8 tablets per day for two weeks. Could this be pharmaceutically induced telogenic/anagenic effluvium (on top of AGA), damage from the dermaroller, stress or a combination of all? Even my hairdresser to whom I didn't pay a visit for two months was surprised with this sudden hair loss and stated with certainty that I had a fuller top on my last visit.

Great presentation. ATB to the 21 year old. A lot stop because of side effects. Totally understandable. What gets me is , if the hair follicle is regrown, why doesn't the bugger keep growing? Why is it the others stay put but the regrown ones refuse to come to the party unless they are medded up?

minoxidil helps keep the hair follicle opening by dilating it. so once that's stopped, it starts closing again and the hair eventually falls out. stopping minoxidil will basically revert your hairloss back to the level it would be if you hadn't started minoxidil in the first place (and sometimes even worse)

@sausagelizer4444

Finasterides stops hair loss and minoxidil triggers regrowth. So if you are happy with your hair and want to maintain what you have, taking oral fin is the way to go, it's easy and efficient. If you also need regrowth, then use minoxidil. It's harder to use because it's a topical you have to apply daily but it's a great hair growth stimulant and fda approved. It can also be coupled with micro needling for better results. Other treatments are on the horizon but for now, it's best to use the fda approved options until new treatments come.

The product is available through Daniel Alain - and is to be applied before applying to minoxidil to help make the enzyme needed to process the minoxidil . I just started using it - other than a lot of shedding - it’s too soon to know . Would love your opinion . Thank you .

Correct me please if im wrong, but you stated that hairs grown on minoxidil are fully dependent on the maintenance of minoxidil. My personal experience on this says that it is true and not completely true at the same time. Let me explain: I was able to regrown 1 big and 3 small patches of alopecia areata on the course of 1 year treatment. After i equalized my hair length, my doctor recomended for me to gradually reduce and eventually stop the topical treatment (as long as i get enough sun and a nutritious diet i would be fine). The point is, the hair never fell off again (thankfully) but i started thinning in general (frontal hairline regressed a bit), but thankfully i still have a full head of hair after 1 year treatment and another year after stopping it fully. My final question here is: the hairs that i regrown are obviously not dependent on minoxidil BUT the stopping accelerated my hairloss overal a bit in general, is this natural OR should i ignore my doctor and keep treating myself before it starts getting noticeable? td;dr - Stopping minox didnt made me lose my hair at all but i started noticing some thinning after 1 year.

@markanthonyestillore1859 2 жыл бұрын
Excuse me I'll correct you alopecia areata is different from male pattern baldness, u can stop minox in your case with or without negative effect coz it's an auto immune shit that mistakenly attack ur hair follicles but male pattern baldness is a lifetime attck due to dht that is if u undergo treatment the hair u regrow is dependent to the medication...the topic here is about male pattern baldness not alopecia areata thingy
@velhinho_91
@velhinho_91 2 жыл бұрын
@@markanthonyestillore1859 Well, its not a "thingy", its hairloss nonetheless, chunks of it to the scalp immediately, from one day to another. Theres even severe cases that it just gets worse and you just go completely bald in a short period of time. The treatment is the same. You improve and after that i think its a valid concern to think that the hairs would fall again if you stop it, thats all. To this day im fine still tho.

I started inmediately Minoxidil and finasteride, along with Microneedling, besides some oils too. All hairs that fell out should grow back? @Leonhart_93

Those hairs that fell WILL grow back, but if they are affected by AGA they will grow back progressively thinner. It's not the Minoxidil that was at fault per se, just that the negative effects of the DHT continue even while using minoxidil, so once you stop it you will see the negative effect of their build up over the years. I recommend microneedling, it's a cheap and very effective way to boost your hair, especially when combined with minoxidil and other treatments.
