One of the best TEDx talks. Elegant and to-the-point.

I’m so sad that I am a decade late to this talk. This is one of the greatest examples of human design and the crown jewel of 20th century discoveries.

Thank you Mr. Narukawa and your team for this extraordinary work. It's a life-changing and perspective-changing map, that many do not realise and recognise. Unfortunately. Thank you.

Your map is the best, but is so expensive to buy and it's hard to find a free quality in web. Whole students of the world should use it, please help us.

If anyone wants to go about polishing the "AuthaGraph projection" in Wikipedia's "List_of_map_projections" , feel free to do so. Also, Please take a look at the horribly neglected, *Abbass Bazeghi's map!*

see my comment above before buying: it's expensive, badly designed and way too small for a world map poster!

The only true way, you get a 2D world is using two sides of a circle, with it being a certain circumference, having the Northern and Southern Hemisphere on either side that could become a sphere.

This map basically flat earth & needs many changes. Main thing is that Techniqually map needs (1) 3D image with upper & lower areas. (2) describe it with Miles & km. (3) describe it with sun rises time & sunsets of countries. (4) every country need arrow of North. (5) atmosphere & light-dark side hot-cool side

A map designed by a Japanese places the Japanese islands close to the center. Who could have guessed? XD
@EduardoHernandez-jl5qt
@EduardoHernandez-jl5qt 2 жыл бұрын
Authagraph can be centered to any point on Earth because it's totally seamless (even outside the Equator, which no other projection can do). The fact that can be centered near of Japan is proof of that achievement.

Le Hubiera sido más fácil crear el mapa si hubiera sabido que la forma de la tierra es un circúlo en vez de una esfera.
