A little bit predictable, but all is forgiven when there is so much charm in a film. Very enjoyable, thank you so much.

This movie truly is a gem! First of all Dalton Trumbo, what else is there to say. This film is blessed with a great plot and a number of interesting twists and a pace that keeps you engaged. Well acted, casted and a wonderful study as a period piece. I thoroughly enjoyed this film!

Very happy to see this b & w classic. More important to see every school room has a USA's national flag flying behind the teacher's desk. We don't even find our Indian national flag in even in government offices, leave alone schools & educational institutions. I hate this anti nationalism attitude.

1940 was when the american war propaganda effort started. And steamrollered trough till 1945. Nationalism is mussolini, Germany's Hitler and russia's Stalin. nationalism a is part of dictatorships. Don't be stupid

Nationalism may be in the name of a country's political system, but nationalism is taking the interests and patriotism of at the exclusion of other nations. Nationalism is not as strong in America (God save us) as in yesteryears. Things changed in 1963 that has greatly affected our society today.

@@tomhefner6344 Speaking of stupid. Nationalism is a good thing when it's not used by the type of ego-narcissists like those you mentioned. it's not about a country's people, it's about those that lead it...Stupid!

I agree with you. And I don't like western movies couse they glorify cowboys. Even though I love this old black white movies I have to say, I don't like not seeing my brothers from different races.
