Fr I think the main reason why people usually prefer low-mid tier up to 8.0 is because the maps are properly sized compared to the abilities of the vehicules at that br. Having 1.5km large maps at a br where every tank can shoot another one with almost perfect precision from 10km makes absolutely no sense and kills the tactical aspect of the game

Here's my idea for revamping profiles: Have a line-up of your crew for your preferred game-mode similar to Ghost Recon: Wildands that shows on your player card. For each crewmember, you can make cosmetic changes to them, as well as change their voices. Then, Gaijin can run events in which you can get cosmetic rewards and unique voicelines. For example, you might have a Rambo event where you can unlock an 80s haircut and Silvester Stallone voicelines for your crew. I think this system would be a lot more fun than simply showing how many nukes youve gotten.

Amazing idea. Maybe even add some posing scene (after end of battle like in bo3 or in the profile) where your soldiers stand in front of the vehicle

I have a few hundred hours of play and I'm increasingly discouraged from continuing with War Thunder. These small maps, almost becoming just corridors that don't allow you to develop an interesting gameplay in the match, completely ruin the immersion in the game (ground battles). Flanks are almost impossible to get in Top Tier and that's a kick in the ass.

Without flanking there's no asymmetric warfare ground to ground. Bigger maps and entire map border spawn points. Then just add correct models instead of corrupting everything for "balance."

They just recently added the graphical update I wanted most. Now they just need to fix it and get it working right. This will never happen but I have always wanted the expert and ace in a vehicle to be shared amongst crew slots. it would allow more flexibility in loadouts. I have always wanted to switch rounds without firing as I carry limited ammunition but sometimes I want like HE or something for a target

They should honestly delete the crew train cost. Make it a one time payment and then you can move vehicles (including crew train and ace status) into any crew slot

Updated tank communication. Instead of two players, move to four players with the ability to have revamped Voice chat within said squad. Communication just sucks and all we got rn is top players saying the rest of the teams sucks instead of helping.

i really want to do some sort of PvE scenarios with my friends i love what war thunder has to offer and the thought of doing a carrier based oporation then returning to the carrier or other such things really would make the game super interesting

Honestly I don’t see why we can’t have manual unloading/swapping ammo we already have commander override modeled and the strv 103 correctly can be used with only 1 crew which means I see no reason not to allow tanks that could unload to actually do so in game it could show when you mouse over the breech “can be unloaded”

13:00 you can compare vehicle stat cards side by side using their assistant mobile app. Its free to use and pretty straight forward.

I'd like a feature where I can choose to wait a little longer for a battle if it means less uptier. So instead of max 1.0 BR up/down tier max .7 or .3 up/downtier. For me waittimes in like ground RB are not long and I would happy to wait a little longer ig I would get better match making in return.

I do like the update with the new graphics but i don't think they spent enough time. Overall looking at every update over the last 3 years, it is impressive how many updates they push out per year, but I'd rather half the updates, with the same amount of content over a year, but with increased care and time taken into consideration for the game.

When I think of the minority percentage of player that play war thunder for me it's the hardcore gamers the ones that got everything unlocked every vehicle and every skin 9 times out of 10 if gaijin releases something its to cater to them not to casual or new players which I believe is the main base of war thunder 🤷🏽‍♂️ If you're not a wallet warrior or sell your soul to the snail anytime an event vehicle comes around you're pretty much screwed 😂😂
