Tim Duncan deserves more talk in the greatest players of all time list. So many people miss him. His resume is quite nearly flawless; he's not only won every major award you probably could in a stellar NBA career (often multiple times), but he's also showcased some of the best consistency ever in doing it. Truly a modern great; wish the media wouldn't have painted him as more boring so that we could appreciate great, teachable basketball.

I'm sure it helped Timmay a lot, honing up his skills, having to go up against the Admiral during practice on a regular basis coming up.

he makes being SAS fan so enjoyable. No down years constant success. Always contenting. Even when you start to think maybe good times over but then you made 3 straight conference finals and most heartbreaking and satisfying finals n back to back years. Just amazing. I was literally spoiled as a fan.

The only guy who truly kept the question “Kobe was the best player in the 2000s” open...
@realniggashit33 жыл бұрын
Nah prime Garnett was better than him. Duncan was just on the better team and had the better coach. Shaq was the most dominant player in the league until 2006.

Garnett was not even worth mentioning lol. TD made his teammates better, Garnett & the Celtics couldn’t hold on to Ray Allen.
@realniggashit33 жыл бұрын
@@DieCastErn The only thing Duncan has over Garnett is longevity because prime Garnett was better than prime Duncan. Prime Duncan just had far more help than prime Garnett and was drafted into a functional franchise, not a Glen Taylor-owned shitshow. Put KG on the Spurs and Duncan on the Wolves and see what happens. The Timberwolves have made the playoffs only once since KG left in 2007 and that was only due to Thibodeau and rental Jimmy Butler (not anyone they developed and built around), so it was a miracle KG made them competitive. Meanwhile, the Spurs won 61 games the year after Duncan retired lol. Btw Pierce was an overrated career loser who never won 50 games pre-KG and would've never made the playoffs in the West. Garnett would've easily beaten those trash East teams like the Sixers, Nets, Bucks, Celtics in the early 2000s. Most halfway decent teams in the West would've as well.
