HALF INCH FUEL LINE UPGRADE XR XT XW XY FORD

G'day guys in this video we are doing talking quickly about a Fuel Line upgrade from 3/8 to 1/2 inch on an XY.
This customer wanted to use the 36 gallon GTHO style fuel tank but ideally for a 650HP plus ford V8 you would use a fuel cell with a rear pickup and dash 8 fittings hose and hardline all the way to the fuel rail.
The parts shown could be used on any XR XT XW XY build or conversion.

I had my tank modified for a 1/2 inch pick up. 1/2 inch solid line all the way to the Robbie Mac

Now were talking! 1/2" is where it's at or just go straight to 1" so don't need to upgrade again later 😅👍

Many thanks for the great info guys ! For us 400hp-and-under crew - would there be any downside of half inch all the way thru ? Or would the pump put out too much volume/pressure for a lower cfm carb? 🙏👍

The reduction back to 3/8 before a normal pump would spike pressure a bit, would be easily sorted with a regulator. I don’t see any down sides to having more capacity with the fuel line.

I got the 1/2 sender and fuel line to bend up, my issue is the little speedflow coupler on my holley fuel line were it splits to 2 is only 3/8 :/

That should work ok mate depending what style pump you have the older style pumps like a smaller line to the Carby
