My mom used to cook the 떡 over fire and we’d get to dip it in sugar. My fave is 쑥떡 ... as an adult. I spent a lot of time in Korea growing up ... I think that is the difference maybe with eating a lot of 떡볶이 vs just regular when we lived in the states. You guys are great!

One of my mum’s best friends is Korean and introduced her to a whole bunch of Korean food over the years, so I’ve had spicy rice cakes before...but with my mum’s Nigerian fusion twist to it 😂

I am not really a fan of mukbangs but I enjoyed this video for the banter and culinary history knowledge. For the next one, how about fried chicken and beer? I heard that is somewhat of a staple in South Korea. Maybe you can compare Korean fried chicken to that of the US?

Can’t believe you guys are engaged. You make a fine couple. My advice to you is to look into Islam and see what you think. I just reverted to islam last year during the pandemic. It was a journey.
