If you're currently living in South Korea (or have lived here), what are some more pros to living in Korea that we didn't discuss? 🤔👇🏽

As a K/A woman, I lived in Korea for 3 years...to see if I could live in Korea long term, and reacquaint myself with my birth country which I left when I was only 3 yrs old. I think for me, the biggest hurdle was the mindset (mine and Koreans in general). As an older single woman, I found myself constantly having to explain why I was traveling so freely in Korea and not with my "family", to trivial things like why my skin was so tanned and how I should "whiten" my skin, convincing a hairdresser that I actually want a super short haircut just like a guy's length...etc. bc the summer is brutally hot and humid....I guess at the end, I got tired of having to justify who I was...On a bright side, I do miss all the things you guys have discussed.

Those are some superficial complaints. Hopefully you'll never face real adversity

Hi! If you are a Foreign resident or an Expat in Korea, this is an ad you don't want to miss.

Love the haircuts on you both.❤️ I wonder if it's harder for a foreign woman to live in S. Korea, vs a man. I watched another KZbinr, a young female, who first loved living in Korea. Then over the years, couldn't wait to get the hell off of dodge. She said she was constantly hassled by old men. Because she was a foreign woman living by herself. and one older lady around where she lived would always follow her and tell her to leave the country. I feel if she was a man, she wouldn't have been harassed as much.

Becky Korea is good for skin care. What is the crime rate or do they have any. Please let us know next time. God bless 🙏🏾

The crime rate in Korea will be the lowest in the world. Cctv is everywhere, so not allowed to the point where It's safe for women to drink walk around in the middle of the night.

@@sypark6300 London also has CCTVs everywhere but a lot of crime. So that doesn't stop crime. What stops crime is the population. If London was 100% East Asian or 100% German it would also be low crime.

I'm a 30 y.o ASIANstay at home mom to a 7y.o (both international age). All the mom's in our neighborhood are shocked to know my age, and I have a feeling they started to distance themselves from me for whatever reasons? Thankfully enough my son has not been discriminated. while the other Korean mom's are mingling and chattering in a group, I just sat in a corner browsing my phone and doing my own stuff. I can understand what they're talking about and they know I can speak the language so I'm guessing it's probably due to the age gap and I know Korean women especially are very sensitive about this or because we are the new kid in the block... I'm not sure but it's starting to get on my nerves recently. any recommendations on how I should approach them If i want to be included in their social circle?

Learn to be by yourself. You don’t need to be around people who don’t want to be around you based on external factors. You should be around others who love you for you and not because of your age or where are you come from.

@@m.h4003 aww I’m glad I can help in any little way. Just to let you know your father god loves you so much and he thinks you’re special and beautiful no matter what. People who treat you like crap only do that because that’s how they feel about themselves, it’s true. Keep being you don’t let the darkness dim your light. :)
