i recently told my girlfried i know running is actually not that important and she responded with "but it is important to you!" and there is truth to it. I do also believe it influences our lifes in more ways than we would think. Being it more fit and healther both physically and also mentally. also i love that it unites people from all Backgrounds all over the world in something they love doing and can afford doing with little money. ❤

To me this illustrates the power of a deliberate and realistic negative split-you’ll run a faster time and feel better doing it. Great race and I’m excited to see what you’ll achieve with a similar approach to the marathon!

Man 4:02 just hits so much. Ever since watching your Boston training block this song has been on my playlist, and every time I hear it, so much inspiration and motivation comes up. I'm running my first ever Marathon at the Twin Cities Marathon in 3 and a half weeks. The training block has been kicking my butt, but now that I'm in the peak week, I have learned to appreciate the process so much. I hope that once I'm into the race and see the beauty and hardships, that I could resonate with a quote you said in Boston: "Marathoning is the coolest thing in the world". Thank you so much for being such an inspiration, and congrats on that Half PR! Looking forward to seeing how the rest of the training block and race go for you!
