im playing a half-orc druid right now. an outcast from a tribe who learned how to survive on his own and eventually made a living as a craftsman outside an elf city and its been really interesting and kinda fun so far

My current character is Makoa Kharthok a barbarian monk fighter with the unarmed fighting fighting style to get to throw two punches around for 2 d8 damage on top of my 20 strength and it’s fun to RP outside of combat two I’m playing in a campaign with my eight year old and he likes to joke about my characters anger issues

I've done some experiments with half-orcs by giving them Wereboar Fathers. I use the “Gruul Anarch” background to build these characters, because half-orcs can embrace their barbaric tendencies.

My half orc, Rogahl, is a Paladin with the sage background. Oath of ancients. His secret is he has discovered baphomet has tricked gruumsh out of his pantheon and is masquerading as the god. Leading to the orcs being so savage for the last few centuries. Rogahl must save his people and waylay the false god

I'm making a half orc character who has a Dissociative identity disorder. He will have a personality when he will be a calm and good mannered curious wizard, but when he gets angry, he will be a ruthless barbarian, who wants to hit their enemy really hard.

ORC-ELF HOMEBREW Whichever race was the child bearer produced the dominant traits. In a land racist against orcs from a devastating war 100 years ago in which a Lych King conscripted the Orc population into being part of his army. When he was defeated, all native orcs were hunted down and slaughtered. Over the years there numbers thinned to zero. During which time my mother was a captive Orc to a tyrant of man, a High Elf. After a torturous time she escaped and fled into the wilds once she discovered she was pregnant. Once she gave birth she feared getting caught together would insure my death and she left me at the door of an Orphange in the dead of night. This is the beginning my character did not know. The Orphange was not kind to me. Though they did not discard me or alert the authorities, I was raised and kept in the attic locked away from the other children. Believing i would die in that attic all but gave up hope. Until I was 6, when I escaped during a fire in the town that set the roof alight. I ran into the near by woods where I survived in ancient dried river caves for 2 years. Until an older Ranger of an Order discovered me. He first thought to dispatch of me seeing what i was and knowing my life would not be an easy path, but his kindness for my innocence won out. Slowly winning my trust he took me in. Seeing my potential and noticing a difference in me he raised me and trained me. Still keeping my true nature a closely gaurded secret, eventually adopting me as his son. On his passing he named me his successor to his post and rank. Where I stayed guarding an ancient wood in the center of an island nation. My true nature was never revealed to me. Believing a common narrative of the viciousness of orcs. I believed my mother a human. Only when I started my adventure with my one trust dwarven friend and a few others that didn't seem to mind my nature did I discover what I was. And still after talking with the spirit of my dead adopted father did I learn the particulars. I know know my mothers name and the tribe she belonged too but nothing of my father. Besides he is a High Elf. I know I am the only native Orc left in these lands, and that I may be the only Orc-Elf hybrid that there is. Only after the acceptance from my friends and the members of my Order I have met and the Goddess that call me her Champion am I slowly learning to embrace what I am. He has half orc traits plus Fey Ancestory. +2 in STR and +1 in DEX & CON. A walking speed of 35 and a starting cantrip. He has heterochromia, a golde elven iris an and an orcish red iris on black eyes. He also has vitiligo, a grey wash of orc tones cut with fair elven peach. 6' 11" Gloomstalker-Fighter
