Halle has such an incredible mix! those 5th octave belts always comes so effortless for her. I can’t wait to hear her in The Little Mermaid and to hear her belt even more!

I wouldn't call it peculiar, but rather ostensible and easily found. It's her strongest and yet also weakest point in my opinion. It obviously alludes to a very healthy technique and gorgeous placement, but robs her at the same time of the grit and perhaps also the twang that most legendary vocalist have possessed to some extent in their instruments. Because I do believe she has the potential to reach that level judging by her technical prowess and the very expansive range, she needs to hone upon establishing distinguishable traits to her voice and she'll definitely be one of the biggest talents to look for in next couple of years.

@@taytaybeynippy486 imma have to disagree her classical tone is just her sound it is what makes her different

@@zaybrandon5522 It makes her different, but I think in the contemporary world, sadly, it just isn't as captivating. Its the reason why singers like Lea Michelle and Natalie Weiss aren't as appreciated despite their technical skill. I would be interested in seeing her develop, and she'll definitely need a signature trait to be appreciated vocally.

Halle's A5 are top tier. By the way she sustains A5 back to back on the Tiny desk "wonder what she thinks of me", I'd agree that belting g5 and a5 would probably be easy for her. Halle's tessitura sits so high that she can comfortably reach heights that would have most of the kids in shambles.

I agree! I also personally prefer Beyonce's extremely distinct voice and twangy tone that brings allot of personality to all her covers. Halle's rendition is still very impressive. She has an extremely rounded voice without any rasp or grit and so it'll be interesting to see how she turns her voice in to an easily distinguished voice. Becuase she clearly already mastered the technical aspect of it. Having as much support as she does is very impressive for a soprano her age.
