I'm Glad you decided to look at this one Nerd. It's a pretty good movie if you look at it apart from Halloween and 2. I know im the minority but i liked the idea of the series becoming a horror anthology. After 2 it became silly how Michael kept coming back especially since they never really set up a way for that to be a thing.
@Thurston863 жыл бұрын
I agree with you. I think the anthology idea would’ve worked had Season of the Witch been the second sequel. But by bringing back Meyers in the 2nd, they set audiences expectations that _all_ sequels would feature him. Even if they switched the order of 2 and 3, I think they would’ve had a better shot at making it work.

"Halloween III" was an attempt that failed due to the lack of Michael Myers, despite trying to be brave by branching out. That is the reason we got the unstoppable juggernaut of Jason Voorhees in "Friday the 13th." It, too, was meant to be an anthology series until the producers demanded Jason become a constant. Never mind how the likes of Jason, Freddy, or Michael return from after supposedly being mutilated after each movie and become unstoppable killing machines until the end when the plot allows it. I can understand one or two sequels and make it seem like the killer managed to survive the first couple of times, but with over 25 entries between the three it got to be more about the body count than an actual story.
@soyuzdavillan7213 жыл бұрын
In my opinion instead of doing Freddy vs Jason - they should've done Jason vs Michael. Sure, there would've been little dialogue to speak of but I think it wouldve been a better movie being slasher v slasher
