I like how you called the number 4 "shi" and not "yon" while you were making calligraphy. Is it because of halloween? I am genuinely curious about it
@partialparanoia3065Ай бұрын
no, he does that every lesson lol it’s probably because it’s the more traditional way of saying 4
@ayush8529Ай бұрын
@@partialparanoia3065 そう!!笑
@Toppogi-kanjiАй бұрын
Thanks!!! It is true that "4" is said as "yon" or "shi", but either way is common lol. Well, sure, "shi" is pronounced the same as "死(shi)(=death)," so it would have been perfect for Halloween!😏
@ayush8529Ай бұрын
@@Toppogi-kanji haha that's certainly interesting! Hope you had a great Halloween!
@SoftBreadSoftАй бұрын
shi is usually used when counting up. yon counting down. similarly shichi when counting up and nana when counting down 7 bonus: some (elders) people still count with ひふみよいむなやこと outside of the tsu system
I like how your so energetic making the video so fun to watch.

I've seen this Kanji in the name of the character Marisa Kirisame from Touhou project (霧雨 魔理沙), which makes sense because she's a magician!

🪄A lesson of less than five minutes but densely packed. It’s interesting that the kanji includes “demon” since there are some traditions of benevolent magic.
