Overpopulation crises are basically impossible in the 18th century way you or Malthus picture for an installer society like the Covenant. Like, no joke, if anything you'd have the opposite problem and in order for there to be an overpopulation crises of the kind you or Malthus envision you'd have to go out of your way to engineer such a crises by limiting the places people can settle and live in.

@@VunderGuy Well, grunts reproduce like rabbits. Despite receiving heavy losses and being use like Canon fodder, they still manage to be the most prominent covenant specie. Also, the covenant is massive, and really massive once you get more into the lore (believe me, in Canon they are much bigger in numbers than they appear). The only one that is really underpopulated is the prophets, and maybe the brute because of late space expansion and other future stuff.

I feel like the creator of this mod struggled to make some encounters hard so he just doubled the elites. And normally that’s ok but on legendary like 10 elites, in one fight, is too many. Having said that there is absolutely no greater feeling than fighting alongside Spartans in this mod. Something about their AI is just so good.

Yeah the Spartan models look like they can take 3x damage as master chief. See when their shooting their damage is also high on the guns

This is why i didnt change the encoumters since theyre perfectly balanced for the og halo, i wanted to chsmge certain ways how weapons feel and are used on ai as well as faster movement, this way the legendary difficulty stil feels like legendary but you have even more options

Apparently in this mod, NPCs shoot all the Covenant, even if you never pull a trigger, so your individual skills are less necessary.
