@darkbooger2 жыл бұрын
@@WB1813 This trooper's survival is unlikely, but there is always the small chance that he somehow survived if he landed on something at an angle and/or the snow could've cushioned it somewhat, or just anything to break his fall for that matter. However, even if he did survive he would have severe injuries which may or may not include broken/shattered bones and internal bleeding depending on his level of luck. By the time he wakes up he is going to want to find a med kit and biofoam immediately.
@ThehandleSigmawasstolenfromme2 жыл бұрын
@@WB1813 A human can survive a fall of terminal velocity. And we don't know how fast that trooper was falling. From the looks of his CO, they had deployed airbrakes by the time he was pulled from his pod. And even then, at terminal velocity, he would have slammed into those trees far faster than he did. He has a much better chance of surviving the fall. He probably won't be walking away from it, yeah, but he has a pretty good chance of not dying. As for the actual distance from his pod that he fell, I would give maybe a thousand, thousand five hundred. Still fucking nuts and he will probably have several broken limbs, among other things. But death isn't a guarantee. Especially since we have actual, real world records of unarmored and unprepared civilians surviving far deadlier falls

I got goosebumps when they yelled “HOO RAH!” Amazing attention to detail btw, I loved how you included the same beeping sound they used in the game when they launched their pods

Goddamn, this is INCREDIBLE. The extremely inspiring speech before the drop compared to the sheer chaos and torment of an actual drop where you're just an ODST against the entirety of the banished, you painted it PERFECTLY.

Just watching the pod break open was horrifying. I really hope legs survived that free fall Amazing work on this animation.

Beautiful work as always, really makes me itch for another ODST game focused on the events between Harvest and Halo. Imagine dropping in via Pelican or Pod, missions varying from stealth, search & rescue, or all out combat. Hopping planet to planet defending here, taking out a HVT there, gathering intel for ONI etc… I think it’d give 343 plenty of room for a unique perspective to be crafted both from a ODST perspective (like brotherhood/ team drama) and from the larger UNSC perspective. Showing desperation and defeat making the victories all the more sweet when earned. Sacrifice and the feeling of losing hope while fighting to the bitter end would be a good theme too. If 343 could capture that feeling across a multi planet campaign like the feeling you had when playing Lone Wolf for the first time, man that’d be fun. Can’t wait for the next video bro, keep it up 👍

Halo is a military Sci fi and this film showcases that theme! 343 can't even nail the military theme that bungie created, but a youtuber can, 343 hire this man.

Someone get these guys in a studio. Like right now. If that became an odst 2 game, I'D BUY IT. The sound, voice acting, camerawork, and animations were all phenomenal.

This animation alone shows the seriousness of the halo universe.... Need more of this lol
