When they prescribed me haldol, I couldn't walk normally, nore sleep right I kept getting up fast and I couldn't stop smiling like my face was stuck. I didn't like it at all. I guess it's not for me. hope your moms doing good though.

@@johnhernandez441 she's actually not on it anymore, she decided it wasn't working out after a few weeks. She's doing good but I don't know what meds she is on.

I was given this in the ER for a bad migraine...omg 😨 I freeeeaked the F out!! I snatched my IV out , nurses had to hold me down . Ended up getting a large dose of Ativan to calm me down which honestly only took the edge off. It was the worst couple hours of my life. I literally felt like I was dying 😵‍💫 wanted to crawl out of my skin. It was absolutely terrible. Has anyone else had this reaction??

Everyone has had some form of it, it’s not meant to be used off label and probably shouldn’t be scribes ever they give it to old people in nursing homes to shut them up

Yesss!!! It gave me my first ever anxiety attack. I ripped my IV out and tried to run out of the hospital. Once it hit my blood stream I freaked out and felt like I needed to just get out. They gave it to me for my nausea. Ever since they gave me this I have been diagnosed with anxiety and have suffered for the last 3 years. All because of Haldol. Life has been miserable ever since they gave it to me. One of the worst nights of my entire life.

Yes that’s actually while I’m here! This is my second reaction to haldol and is put as an allergic in my charts now. I literally did everything you said. I was ripping my shit off and told the nurse that they need to immediately reverse whatever the “fuck” they just gave me. And I am a very conservative nice person I never cuss at people in public. This really made me show my ass. I was in hospital for bad anxiety attack from being sleep deprived working 17 hour shift and chugging energy drink before I got off

This is one quick question about seroquel: is one 25mg dose enough to do permanent damage to the brain? i took one dose once and am worried it will have a permanent effect. thank you.

Did you talk about the muscle paralysis it can cause? Also you have mentioned cogentin as it is for it to stop the bad side effects

I went through this in the hospital and my whole spine and arms locked up. My whole back was a c and the nurses said I was making this shit up. Very real and very scary. They shot me with bynadryl and it went away.

The side effects aren't permanent. I use to take it but it wasn't for me.

ive used haldol because of psychosis, when i had my psychosis i also had hallucinations. then they gave me lorazepam and haloperidol. the hallucinations did stop. but i felt very numb. didnt enjoy life like i did before. also lost interest in many things.
