Thanks for the brief. The conflict between India and Canada is particularly interesting to me. I've never had any real interaction with anyone who was Sikh. I don't know that much about these people. The popular idea in the U.S. is that they are okay people and are not Muslim as many people sometimes claim. I've never seen them as a threat. At the same time, Hindu Indians that I've known have sometimes seen them as horrible terrorists. I worked at one company that was across the street from a company where a Sikh worked. None of the rest of the employees thought anything about the man, but for a short time, an Indian man worked for our company. He once went on a bit of a rant about the Sikh guy. I remember him saying, "I come all the way to Louisville, Kentucky and find an eff-ing terrorist across the street." I understand governments taking separatist movements seriously. At the same time, I think that many situations could be better resolved if both sides would agree to separate peaceably. I often feel that the best resolution for the United States might be a peaceable separation. The situation is interesting.

As a Canadian I have a lot of mixed feelings about Canadian citizens meddling in India's affairs. I have seen two Quebec separation referendums here in Canada and I am reminded of how angry I was when France or even the US government shared an opinion about Quebec sovereignty. Obviously, the Indian government ordering the murder of Canadian citizens is despicable. At the same time, I doubt that the Khalistan movement here in Canada is helping anyone other than the organizers. I don't see how they can create a political solution.

@@bestest1234567 The three guys that carried out the murder were arrested, I would assume that RCMP tracked the motive through them. The information and chronology are widely available.
