I had a friend of mine that boiled burgers in 3/4of an inch water, onions, garlic powder, salt and pepper. 1 of the greatest burgers I have ever had in my entire life !!!!

Yep. Boiled burgers are outstanding. I have no idea why more people don't do it. I make homemade Krystal burgers at home which requires boiling the patties in very shallow water.

We've got 6 deer in the freezer now. I've bought a meat grinder too. That meal is one of our favorites, so I'm definitely doing it with the deer. You had our mouths watering and stomachs growling! We love the passion in your hunting, fishing and cooking.

Omg brotha. We just harvested a axis buck for Dad 3 weeks ago and i wanted THIS.... YOUR recipe for the first dinner cook for my dad who is fighting not 1 not 2 not 3 but 4 cancers. I showed Dad your video and said this about how i do mine but went and got your Cajun 2 step today at wally world. Everything came out amazing. My wife and I had the pleasure of eating this at a wild game supper for the bush admin swedish ambassador in Clifton TX few years back and they had this "smothered axis deer steak". Best dang thing i ever ate and said then i will be making this when i get deer burger. Thank you thank you thank you for the tips and video i used it tonight for pops. It's Ah-maze-ing!

IF you ate dinner at my house as a kid you probably ate deer meet. We used it in everything that traditionally called for beef. Almost everything we ate was caught or shot. Looks good👍🏻

You most likely grew up pretty healthy and strong, I'm guessing. I was very blessed growing up. Always had food. I grew up in the city though, so although most was home cooked, I also had lots of junk.

That’s how we do it in Louisiana! Now that I’m older though I have to cut back on some on that butter and heavy cream. We are a fat bunch down south cause we like to eat good, but this recipe can be modified a tad if you are watching your calorie intake and it still taste great. Half and half or milk works fine and reduce the butter some and mix in something like olive oil and less butter to caramelize the onions and what not.
