Thank you this was greatly informative! I'm going to be getting one soon as they restock at my local Costco. I want to say the hundred dollars on the shipping and delivery. Does this freezer require defrosting? Does it State anything on the owner's manual required defrosting and or frequency? Thank you😊

I’m not sure about defrost. I don’t think it has an auto defrost.

Pretty quiet I think. Most of the time it’s not running. It’s very efficient, energy star rated. I bought specifically because it’s energy star rated. And the included fitted draws.

Did you move your items from the chest freezer to the upright? How do you like it after moving items? I see lots of posts that say space-wise, it's not efficient. Would love to hear your take.

I moved everything from the 5cf freezer to the 11 cf. everything fit inside fine. I found a bunch of stuff in the chest freezer that I forgot about. So far everyone likes it. I find that I use it more often too. Like everyday now. Also my friends has bought one and my mother in law has got one too. Her upright is full too lol.
